Good day to everyone. Pls I want to upgrade my joomla website from 1.5 to 2.5.4 but I am confused of how to go about it. Pls can some experienced joomla designers share their experience and the way one can upgrade from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5.4. Thanks as you reply to this post. |

BackUp ur site and use jUpgrade extension to migrate from J1.5 to J2.5 Enjoy! |

There are many ways to do it, also several extensions are available for you. I will list the once I hv used: 1) For backup use "Akeeba extension": http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/site-security/backup/1606 2) For Upgrade use "JUpgrade extension": http://redcomponent.com/free-downloads/cat_view/931-jupgrade Hope this will help U? |
