Her words broke the silence Like a newly sharpened sword Such sweet words I become intoxicated As the words swirl Through my mind As if I were just waking From a long slumber She pours out her soul Letting her gift envelope All she comes across As it consumes the day She is the flicker of candle light In a world full of darkness An anchor in the storm |
