This has been a highly debated issue and so, I will put forward the arguments for the two sides. Christian Believer; -God is the moral authority and morality comes from him - The bible is a guide on morality -Love thy neighbor as thyself Atheist -Morality comes from the individual and his/her interactions with the society -Facts show that religious people are more thanlikely to commit crimes just as athiests when one looks at prison statistics -The most peaceful countries are atheistic when we look at the global peace index |
