25-year old woman, Eni Ubi, is now in court following an accusation that she poured hot water mixed with pepper on the face of another 25-year old woman, Adiah Okoi, while they fought over who had the right to marry a man recognized as Eteng Livinus.
She was Unable to meet up with the bail stipulation given by Magistrate O. A. Komolafe of the Abule-Egba Magistrate’s Court, she has now been sent to prison while her victim has been admitted at the Orile-Agege General Hospital in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
Before the alleged act, the two women had fought openly at 26, Oremeji Street, Abule Egba area of Lagos state over the man.
