try rubbing Shea butter on the nose bridge it should help him breath clearer , it's normal for babies to breath like that as their air way matures or something like that.

Everybody has their choice and what works for them! There's no "best" per se. Having said that chicco, sebamed, boots ,aveeno are popular brands with mamas here.


Then team natural says Shea butter and coconut oil/ palm kernel oil is it for them.

Just go with your preference and pocket size.

We have been doing d withdrawal method and I am preparing myself emotionally and otherwise for d next missionary journey. With dh support and God by our side we can do it again and again no fears.

My dear...I also experienced same with my LO when he was about 6weeks plus..I took him to d Hosp and dey prescribed silver bird+ vit c...I used d silver bird in hot steaming water for him to inhale from time to time but it dinylt work for him( u can try it sha..it might work for u just put a drop of it in a a lil bucket of hot water and get him to inhale the steam from it.. ) What I did was to reduce the fan and also close the windows half way or entirely when it gets reallt cold at night and then when it seems like the invinsible[b][/b] cattarh is blocking the nose, I soak a small towel in warm water and dab it gently over his nose to relieve the congestion a bit.

Funny enough hes 14weeks plus now and still breathes like that atimes when its cold but its not a serious as it used to be...

Well vit c generally boosts immunity in kids..I think it kinda helped too... Try placing a warm small towel over his nose when its really congested..that worked for me

You can make his own smoothie and instruct them to refrigerate often (if they have a fridge at school).
I gave a long list some months ago o. I can't remember it all.
Try plantain, fried or boiled potatoes, different cereals .

Hello ma, if your baby's weight has tripled from his birth weight,den he is not underweight.For e.g,if his birth weight is 3kg,at 6 months he supposed to double it,den by 1 year,he supposed to be thrice d birth weight which is 9kg.

So check your baby's birth weight and do the maths.
Pediature drink is mostly sold in all these big pharma dat has grocery section.
You can also try some food supplements like reload, wellkid etc.
Increase d number of times he feeds.Try to make his meal as balanced as possible.

Note:I have tried the above with my daughter dat looks so slim.D result I got is increased appetite and increased poo poo,�.She still looks slim but very healthy and smart.
I have stopped bordering myself.

For August Secrets food, I use blended crayfish+blended dry fish+coconut oil+ dates powder (used to sweeten the food)

Is it better to use CD during d time u are not safe nd do withdrawal during d time u are safe... To avoid stories.

I was at the hospital today and the nurse said the vaccine is for when baby is 2yrs and that its just once.
But is this a new improvement or it has beeen like that, just that they dont include it at 14weeks?

My baby sleeps longer facing down than up and that gives me enough time to sleep and do other things. He isnt used to sleeping up for longer hours and thats my major concern bcus i heard sleeping down isnt safe for infants.

Pls what can i do to help him sleep longer facing up cus ill soon stop placing face down except tummy time?

Sleeping face down is very dangerous.... . have you tried sideways?

Has anyone experienced pregnancy induced haemorrhoid? Mine is external (around the anus) .I need solutions please . I have changed my diet, I eat more fruits and vegetables but my poo whether hard or not is always tinged with blood, I'm always in serious pain anytime I do number 2. Please this is my first child and it's hurting me real bad that things are like this. I feel this sense of failure within me. Hubby has tried his best too. We have practically turned beggars.

Your Location please? I am based in Ibadan and should be able to give some new born cloths out. Relax and don't get yourself stressed out because of your condition. Everything will fall in pleasant places

How old is your baby?
Can your baby turn the head from left to right?
I don’t think it’s bad if your baby can turn the head. Just make sure the bedsheet is well tucked in and there’s no clothes, sheets or anything that can block his airways. Also make sure the room is well ventilated. Nothing stuffy. I am a tummy sleeper and had a tummy sleeper. I took these precautions and we are fine.
Some babies can only sleep on their tummy even the oyibos roger that.

Note: This is my personal opinion, I did this and had no issues.

Mama, I attached a graph here. Plot your baby weight there, starting from the birth weight and see if it falls below.
Sometimes, increasing your baby intake may only result to bigger poopoo and nothing more. There are factors that contribute to weight gain.
If your baby’s weight is below, you need your paed. If not, ensure you give your baby balanced diet. Offer milk and maybe add supplements.
Note that if you overdo it, you may be exposing the child to health issues in the future.
