We were told not to give a proper bath that day. Just cleaned his body with wash cloth and soap.

My son actually wont drink milk or tea or orange juice or any fruit juice or even packaged juice
Its always water.....and then he will start playing with the water anyhow

This was a son 2 months back. Wouldn't tak any drink except water and to think this was the same boy I practically used to force to drink water because of constipation while he was still breast fed. His water Intake increased drastically after i weaned him . When I noticed that the only drink he seemed to prefer to an extent was iced tea probably because it's not so sweet, I kept offering him that once in a while until one day he finished a whole mini pack and now he takes any kind of juice / yoghurt. In fact we try to hide it from him so he doesn't indulge, once he has taken one mini pack for that day. Don't worry, ur baby is yet to adapt to d taste...he will wi time

It's his first time since birth and people are saying it's teething undecided

Get diclofenac gel and apply morning and night with gentle massage, after this support it with bandage. Don't make it too tight, The reason for the bandage is to support your wrist whenever u want to carry anything (not heavy object though). Also, use the bandage overnight cos the night pain is always terrible. Thats what I did when I had it, its so painful that I found it difficult to carry my son self. But the steps above helped me to overcome it.
I believe my response is not too late.

Forevergirl, we cleaned with soap and water and a washcloth to avoid water getting into the cut. Always use an ointment (Aquaphor, Neosporin or whatever balm they give you plus a gauze) to cover the wound. Hth

I don't think there is is an English name for it... it cleanse the stomach after childbirth and help in reducing stomach size after child birth... i have seen it work with my fellow wives and friends in the east..you cook it just like pepper soup but theleaf will remainnlike oshuka (aju) inside the pot... you take it with rice, yam or swallow...contact me if you are interested in buying it.
