Goodmorning Able mamas. Please kindly help me with your experienced opinion.


My boy has been very restless for quite sometime now (over a month)
1. He doesn't sleep straight at night and even during the day.
2. He always cries at intervals after pulling his hair and ear(like someone who's frustrated).
3. He has rashes on his body (even though this just surfaced last week)
4. His temperature is normal
5. He eats well


He's just 6months old and has started taking palp. What could be possibly wrong

Sadly, it seems Asif my breastfeeding days will soon be over.
I went from pumping like 3 bottles at a time like three times daily, to just two bottles, to just one.. now I can't even pump half bottle in like 5hours.. sadly. Even tho pap and water and me nah 5 and 6.
Whatever made my breasmilk dry up didn't even wait for my baby to reach 6 months. That is his favorite food...d joy when he is taking it ehn


On the brighter side, I'm glad he now takes pap well and formula small small.. and also, he is growing well . . That makes me so happy

Make sure he's not too hot. Some children don't like too much clothes, but don't expose him to cold. I use a light clth fir my baby but cover her with a small wrapper at night when it's a bit hot.

The rashes could be itching him, making him cry a lot. Causes of rashes are numerous. It could be heat or by Microbes. Can you describe how the rashes look?

Check around his head for rashes. Sometimes it's not so obvious as they look like dry skin. If it's itchy,he will pull his hair and cry.

You should also check for ear infection or pain. Lightly press the bottom of his ear, behind the ear and note of he reacts. The harmattan cam also cause his ear to itch. Check if covering the ears with a cap for a when brings any relief.

It doesn't look like heat rashes so Baby tribotan will solve this fast. He cant scratch it so he will cry.

Might be heat rashes my dear. This weather is just so so hot. Since his temperature is ok and he eats well,i dont think there is an issue.

Use Agnesia powder for him morning and night after bathing for a week straight and chk if he will stop the frustrating cries and inability to slp. If he does,then u know heat was the culprit.

Dear Mamas, please share your experiences with FP. I want to go for the implant for 3 years, but I'm scared of side effects. I've been on the OCP but it's tiring taking pills everyday, plus it makes me very dry down there and I don't lactate well on it.

Or is there any natural contraceptive that works well?

f i may suggest, if you don't like pap take oats I add chia seed and banana to mine, take a lot of vegetables, yogurt mixed with fruits and tigernut it helps with milk supply, and don't give up on pumping, I learnt that truly it is about demand and supply most importantly rest/sleep is very very important

But if you have done all this and still doesn't help my sister most important is a fed baby either formular or BM na make baby chop, and no stress or pressure for mom, you've got this mama

I gained *4 dress sizes on implant,am still on it because I feel it's the safest( I don't want stories that touch)
Am just doing all I can to loose the weight.
Two of my friends on it,lost excessive weight even they always eat too much food and whatever.
