Please enlighten me what is “Starvation poop”.

Quite a few things can make baby,s poo green for example if they have started eating mashed vegetable,are on antibiotics or iron or you are and are breastfeeding.

I would not advice you give zinc if baby does not have diarrhoea.Just try to give more milk and a bit of water if they appear hungry/dehydrated.

In very rare cases there is an infection but the colours to panic about are black in babies over 2weeks ,white and red at any age.

My baby has sudden infant cry in his sleep and it is soo often. He is will be one year old in April.
I experience this with my first son however not as often as it is now with my second son.
We pray, we take off his cloth for more air, we use kernel oil on him but it’s just not work. After a few week we experience it a again.

Please what is the remedy. Thank you

My baby is 5 months 2 weeks, he is teething at the moment. He has refused to eat. He is Neither accepting formula nor pap and seldom sucks breast. To make the matter worse he has been stooling incessantly and has obviously slimmed down. I've administered Bonababe to him and I don't see it helping the matter. I sincerely don't know what else to do. Someone recommended zinc and oral drip, I really don't know about them. Please Your kind advise will be appreciated.
NB: He's not running temperature o. Only appetite loss and incessant stooling. Please help.

Your baby could be experiencing nightmares or night terrors.


You could read a nice bedtime story to him or play a nice bedtime lullaby before he sleeps.

Prayers don't work here

wen baby start sucking dey suck d water in d breast first b4 d real milk start coming... This is wat happens to ur baby... N reason e is pooping green because u dont feed baby long enough to suck d real breastmilk... Try n let ur baby suck longer... If d green poop is foaming, it means ur baby is teething.

Eeerrmmm!!! May i ask... Why cant she??!!!! Last time i check pap is definitely fantastic for babies, especially the dark one... White people even call it super food for babies.

There is a reason you are supposed to exclusively breastfeed for a timeframe after birth.

just apply ori... D alefo is a visitor, it will go but avoid using hot water to bath ur baby n avoid all those yeye baby cream, soap n powder dt looks cute... D damage dey do to baby skin ehn is nothing to right home about...
