I understand exactly wat u r saying cos my DD was down wit it 3days ago, it usually worsens at nite. I went to a paed nd was given zyncet wit vit c nd it didn't improve, had to go bak nd was given augmentin wit it. There has bin improvement since then. I will advise u go bak to d paed again. Always go bak if there isn't any improvement. stadora: 1 Like |

stadora: Like vibration sound? Does he have a cold? Has it always been like that since birth? Did the Dr tell you what the Zaditen treats? Is the funny breathing affecting feeding eg does he pause to take quick breaths while feeding? Or breathe with his mouth? Babies snore o, sometimes cos of cold or the way you positioned them and sometimes for no tangible reason at all. If its cold, have you tried the steam inhalation thingy, keep him doubly wrapped and see how it goes. A Dr once told me that the "if symptoms persists after 3 days, consult your Dr" is very crucial. If any drug will work, you should feel better by the 3rd day @ least. You might need to go back to tje hospital. My son has this wheezy sound in his chest area. He always had it since birth and it stays whether he has cold or not. It was identified as a heart murmur when he was like 20months old. I am not saying it is o, I am just trying to let you know that sometimes the Dr needs to know every tiny detail about that child to come up with a correct diagnosis. 1 Like 1 Share |

RashMe: Lol. Ur post just got me Lol. Well I will say exercise and exercise. It's a long route but it's worth the wait. Then try and cut down on thequantity of food you eat. I mean the portion you eat at once. Cut down on carbs, take more vegetables and food rich in fiber. Stop late night feeding. And maybe while you re at it, while doing all this, you can get awaist trainer for the tummy. For other mama's pls and pls, one secret to having a flat tummy after childbirth is getting a post partum belt and using it immediately after delivery. It helps to putthe tummy back to place at least to avery large extent |

RashMe: Aye88 has the advise, I'm only going to point you in the direction to go... 25kg+ 7months after is fat that you will need to "force" to leave, it isn't plain baby fluid retention. www.myfitnesspal.com www.3fatchicks.com www.dailyspark.com Also download Jillian Michaels "30 day shred" & "Banish fat boost metabolism" or Billy Blanks "Tae bo" if you can't do road works!! @aye88 .. Does the waist trainer burn the visceral fat or help the abdominals manage diastatis recti or umbilical hernia?? |

Story of my life, I've made up my mind to do a tummy tuck to repair mine, pushups & weighted squats & lunges can bring about major improvements but it won't close the gap... In 2009 , I even contacted a PS in India & got a quote of $4k (chickened out cos I felt baby still fit show to scatter the investment) & it is something I have every future plan of going through... if not for vanity sake alone, I don't intend to live my life with intense back pain.. No bueno & as for not doing no 2 regularly, you need to eat bulky veggies (not vegetable stew) like cucumber, garden egg & drink wattteeerr! Also take up a fitness regime, no two ways about it, you have a sluggish system that needs help & maintaining a high BMR is what can help you, E Hug my sis, this is one situation I can honestly claim to know how you feel.. Aye88 No mind my tecnical speak, diastasis recti is seperation of the rectus abdominus; the muscles that run from under the b.reast to the pubic area.. the function is to act as a kind of girdle to hold the internal organs from flopping around & also protect them.. When babies are born, these muscle are seperated & as time goes on, closes up, that is why babies have rounded tummies. But some people unfortunately have muscles that don't totally close up, which is why some people go through life with rounded bellies even when not heavy set, Now factor in weight gain, pregnancy & matter don spoil.... which is why some women have 4 kids & their bellies don't show it & some birth one & turn to papa ajasco. Waist trainers can't do much for such people. 2 Likes 1 Share |

modath:I have DR too tho it's mild, 2cm. By binding d tummy and doing SOME exercises (some actually worsens d condition) I can close d gap. A friend successfully closed her 3cm gap by binding immediately after delivery. I wasn't able to cos I had CS, tho it's more of an ignorant thing I recently found out another friend who also had CS used BELLEFIT to close hers immediately after delivery. If all else fails I plan to do a tuck too when I finish birthing. |

Please mamas in the house, how can I ensure my son gets well balanced meals? He has refused friso rice cereal, cerelac, guinea/millet/corn mixture, collected custard a little then stopped. Out of desperation, I gave him foofoo, you guys needed to see the way he was gulping it down, I tried garri and he ate plenty too. Am I to feed him only foofoo and garri? He's 6months old. |
