U can get good paediatricians esp in govt hospitals.my sister went 2missionary hosp,sh cudn't get rotavirus&they told her d penta contains HIB&rotavirus.i don't knw if its true though).I wish u'l giv dem d 6wks vaccination b4 u guys travel but incase u can't;God wil mak a way 4u ova there.U no go crase IJN

Whoever told you that is saying a plain lie. They should just say that they do not administer it cos it's kinda pricey. Penta contains 5 vaccines but Rotavirus is not one of them. Rotavirus is very important but it's only up to a certain age (can't remember the age). After that, it becomes toxic to the body.

Yesterday i prepared mashed yam and butter for her and she loved it. she is 8 months now.

Smoothies are a mix of fruits blended sometimes mixed with milk or youghurt. My girl loves bananas so I blend one with a cup of milk for her. I also blend watermelon & pineapple strain some of d juice for her while I enjoy the rest.
Avoshake: Blend ripe avocado with ripe banana and ripe papaya. Add some milk and mix together (you can also blend some apples with it). Serve cool.

At what age should children receive rotavirus vaccine?
RotaTeq® is administered in a 3-dose series, with doses administered at ages 2, 4, and 6 months. Rotarix® is administered in a 2-dose series, with doses administered at ages 2 and 4 months. The minimum age for dose 1 of rotavirus vaccine is 6 weeks; the maximum age for dose 1 is 14 weeks and 6 days. Vaccination should not be initiated for infants aged 15 weeks and 0 days or older because of insufficient data on safety of dose 1 of rotavirus vaccine in older infants. The minimum interval between doses of rotavirus vaccine is 4 weeks; no maximum interval is set. All doses should be administered by age 8 months and 0 days.

@Jade Williams, I asked my ob gyn about tying of tubes and she said its done in National Hospital, Abuja.
She explained that you sign a consent form. If you are already pregnant then they'll do a cs for you and in the process tie up your tubes.
