Giddyperson: Serious matter. That means she has a very sensitive nose be that. Dust powders far from her and gently use your fingertips to apply. Or make it in a paste and rub on her. That's what I do sometimes. |

nicoleswizzi: Yes as long as it is well cooked, not honey, not meat, not groundnut (except well grounded) Meat has a lot of worms. Honey might be contaminated. Raw food might be contaminated too. Fruits yes, fermented food yes, stew, well cooked fish, yes. |

I called the doctor that saw me throughout my pregnancy and he said to bring him to the hospital on Monday morning so he can have a look at it. If it needs to be re-done, we will do it though I'm scared for him - the pain he will go through for someone else's mistake. We will hold the hospital liable for it. Good moni. Pls help me out ooo. my girl is better now however my boy is down now. Last week they ran test on both of them (though I only presented the girl"s complaints), the result shows both needs to be treated even if the girls number were higher. The same drugs were administered and I started giving but it don't work until I had to give the girl piriton and vitc, she was also given injection. The girl is ok but still coughing and my boy is so ddown with cough, cattarh, and high temp. I have used plenty drugs, from the one they gave at the clinic to the few I have at home. We were at the hospital yesterday and they administered another cough syrup, this night his temp is over the bar. He is not sleeping! Could it be they are not treating the right thing? Am planning taking him to another hospital. Tomorrow. What could be wrong? Not slept for some nights now and me sef am so down. |

olubankemi:This cough and cattarh is everywhere. It is also so hard to treat it takes time before it goes completely. As per his temp still give him paracetamol or any fever reducer you are using. Then also mop his body with lukewarm water to bring his temp down. I hope ths will help until morning when you can go back to the clinic. Pele |

Morning to you all I am a new mom, I gave birth to a beautiful princess, I actually ported from the pregnancy thread. I had my girl through cs two weeks ago and I am still bleeding(not as heavy as it was a week ago) , I don't know if this is normal cos anytime I take something hot, the blood comes out more. Also, I am losing weight rapidly, I am almost at my pre pregnancy weight, is this also normal cos I eat a lot but I am not gaining weight... am I ok or should I complain to my doctor about this two issues bothering me |

The one I can answer is the weight. Depends on his birthweight and what he eats. I personal don't think he's overweight from the pic you shared of him. Besides my son is 8kg at 3 months what will we call that one? But he was 4.3 at birth, isn't exclusively breastfed and is quite tall. jazzyjazz: |

Bleeding is normal. It should stop completely btw 4 and 6 weeks Loss of weight is normally. I assume you're exclusively breastfeeding, that's where all your food is going opejulie10: |
