Four men were arrested today as they planted high calibre explosive device within the mosque’s premises minutes to the commencement of Friday prayer at Fagge Juma’at mosque in Kano.
Some people immediately branded the would-be bombers Christians and to prevent any break down of law and other, the police immediately put up a press statement. In a statement issued by its spokesperson, DSP Rilwanu M. Dutse, the command gave the names of the suspects as Saminu Haruna, Salisu Adamu, Abdullahi Mohammed and Lawal Sa’idu, adding that they were apprehended by people in the area. Some of the suspect worships at the local mosque and are Muslims by faith. Police detonated the time bomb without causing any casualty or damage.

We knew the so called Mujahedeens that tried to bomb mosques are not Boko Haram. It was nothing more than an attempt and a cheap one at that for the propagandists to either change the Islamic label on Boko Haram or create imaginary facts on ground that all attacks including the ones that BH had claimed responsibility for were the handiwork of outsiders who, in their opinion, did not wish their part of the country well. It failed!

Boko Haram is professing the true face of Islamic terrorism killing at will the so called infidels. They also enjoy a robust support of their local population. Their activities also fit perfectly into the political calculations of some unguided elements.

It will be a great sin to kill a fellow Muslim and think Allah will understand. Na wah oo for Boko boys.
