I use miuiandroid's rom with a different launcher and it's fantastic. I can't I imagine using anything else.
Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by lynxnoon(m): 2:17pm On Sep 14, 2012
men 4ller is right oh
i used MIUI back then and it was the best rom i had used since my flashing days wink
the only reason i changed to stock was cos of the absence of INTERNET PASS-THROUGH fxn not present then but currently its been added.
kinda surprised they combined AOSP n SENSE builds in the recent ics n jb release.
with MIUI there are loads n loads of customization one can do.

4llerbuntu: The unique looks,. the fact that so many functions are built in from scratch, the fact that it has unique addons.

i have always told u, use a ROM for 2 days before making up your mind if its nice or not. the only reason to remove a ROM in one hr is if it does not run properly, is FC - ing and ur apps done work etc etc etc.

The only aftermarket replacement rom thats better than MIUI is CM, and thats because they manage to do vanilla android with cool improvements.

MIUI packs waay more stuff smoothly. how will u know when all u were looking for is the eyecandy tongue tongue tongue

is your fone supported officially by MIUI or it was a port you flashed? ports are not indicative of the real deal usually, the guys who do it use CM as a base and slap MIUI UI on top. most of the time they remove functions just to get it to work.

STOCK MIUI is no slouch in performance either

way back at gingerbread level MIUI was the first ROM to have lockscreen notification( the same one apple is marketing now), the phonebook had way more functions, stuff like data monitoring/management were built in, restrictions, u could specify how much data allowance u used daily etc etc.
stuff that u need apps for on other roms.

sure the looks is not for everyone, but hey why not give it 48 hrs before thrashing it, you would be surprised how u take things for granted with it on ur fone.

As you don talk am now........I go flash am again then give am 72 hours to impress me.

Those of you complaining about using BIS on android should just get zain BIS but make sure you have OS7.1 installed on your berry..it ships with 2GB worth of data but if you want it to last, minimize the amount of downloads you might make.

Setup your berry as a hotspot, connect your android smartphone via wifi...shikena.
