Is the Android phone all about apps because that is about all I hear from its users. What are the apps that can possibly interest an older person say 50 years. Will they have time for all the apps that I keep hearing that the Android possess? |

mashnino: Guys i just bought an s3 nd its my first android fone but i must say dat i am highly impressed...so na wetin una bin dey enjoy una no gree tell bois bah.. nice one dude...got one of those too and the thing is rocking tight. if you had a blackberry, my suggestion will be for you to look for the android version of the apps you had on your BB and install. as you do that, you'll see other apps catch your interest and so on |

This must be added to the file /system/etc/init.d/15network Or create a new file for it following the start sequency should work too. HTML Code: # Ignore all kinds of icmp packets or pings: echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_all echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/icmp_echo_ignore_all # Set Mac address or Mac Spoofing: echo 00:11:22:33:44:55 > /data/misc/wifi/mac_address Fully working no errors until now, using this method it won't change the mac address back to default when turning wifi on/off as was happening on old versions of this rom and in others. I've not tested this on other roms, but i believe that any rom that support init.d start will accept it on the same way. BIG BUT: It isn't very easy if you need to use more than one mac address. For testing you can try on the adb terminal using the command: echo 00:11:22:33:44:55 > /data/misc/wifi/mac_address Turn off wifi and on again. #Ignore all kinds of icmp packets or pings: This is good if you want to be partially hidden in the network. Don't know if there is any other effect than just not answer ping requests(found something regarding remote verification requests, but got no error so far) |

[Tweaks] - Adjustments build.prop [11/09/2011] The time changes in build.prop walk testing, here are some improvements ... They can also be applied to stock roms! The optimization can vary from one device to another (I believe)! Be careful not to duplicate lines! If you do not have the line, you can add it to end! For the changes you need a file manager (with root access) How: Go to System / build.prop build.prop and open with text editor and add (if not already) or change for better results! Just made the changes save and exit and restart the machine! Note: I am not responsible for killing your phone! Use at your own risk! It is indicated by guarantee having a backup! 1.
