Initially,I stated this man would have a reason for whatever he did; questions now arising:
1. Why are other legislators not willing to answer to the police summons?
2. Why is the SSS proving uncooperative, forget about the balderdash opinion that the I.G is still acting?
3. How can the evidence be at large till now?
4. Why is the video not available for public access? I remember Al-Mustapha's tape of Diya begging for his life did not take a week to be released on National TV.

ndu_chucks: These people are taking Nigerians as fools. It is obvious that Odetola is releasing portions of the audio recording which favour his position. We must not rush to judgement until we've seen the complete unedited video and heard the complete audio recording. Even the complete video will be unreliable since Odetola seems to be its recorder and guardian.

No sane court of law would admit the video as evidence if the SSS cannot document its custody from the time it was recorded to the time it will be presented in court, if it ever gets presented. By leaking the audio tape, they have essentially exonerated Farouk. The evidence has been tainted and will be inadmissible. This is equivalent to a crime lab mishandling blood stains and then presenting lad reports after glaring evidence of screwed up custody of the said sample. Such action would typically render the said lab report rightfully inadmissible.

GEJ needs to dissociate himself from Odetola until Odetola clears him name. Odetola does not belong in GEJ's economic team at this point in time.

Let us do some analysis on this conversation. Otedola seemed to be pushy. He dominated the discussion while the supposed lawan seemed not to be aware of a previous discussion relating to the topic. He was like dragging lawan with rope all through.

dwell and reflect a little on this statement " your house? " made by the lawan when otedola said " I do not want to bring it to my house". The amount in question is 2.5 m dollars. I believe a more concrete arrangement should have been made as regards mode, venue and time of collection. So concrete that it cannot be changed at the 11th hour.

It was otedola that mentioned 2.5 m dollars. Now, let us remove that " That is 2.5m dollars" from that line you will observe that no damage would have been caused to the general context of the discussion. It could have been slipped in later. That particular line should be given attention during investigation. based on the conversation it could be proved that otedola initiated this bribery saga with a malicious intent of casting aspersion to the reputation of lawan.

It is my opinion that otedola was used to trap lawan in order to capsize the ship of the subsidy probe by taking down the captain. And it is working.
