Nairalanders, does anyone in the house know any thing about the commonwealth scholarship? i hear screenings have been scheduled for next week in Abuja. has any one applied, what are the requirements?

2008/2009 Postgraduate Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan Selection Interview From 3rd - 6th December 2007.

Method of application

Application forms are to be obtained online @ website: www.csfp-online. org

Using the following steps’

Goto countries offering awards
Goto Trinidad and Tobago
Choose “click here for details of the scholarship and application forms”
Move to the bottom under List of Nomonation Agencies and Click Get Form: Then Choose Nigeria to download
Qualifications:

The awards are in all field of study. Only candidates who graduated in 2001 – 2006 with 1st Class or 2nd Class upper Division are eligible to apply. The age limit is 35yrs for men and 40yrs for women.

The Interview Time Table is as Follows:

All qualified applicants are to come to interview venue with six copies of completed application forms with all relevant documents attached.



3rd Dec. 2007 Monday All applicant for Ph.D. from all State

4th Dec. 2007 Tuesday All applicants for Masters from North C Central/South South

5th Dec. 2007 Wednesday All Masters fromNorth West/South East

6th Dec. 2007 Thursday “ “ North East/South West



Venue: Arewa Suites Hotel, Samuel Ademola Ademulegun Street ,

Off Herbert Macaulay Way , Central Business District, Abuja

Time: 9:am daily.
