There's improvement in my area (Sagamu). We now have light at least 10 hours a day although my bill has also increased. I now settle the PHCN boys N300 per month. I no mind sha.

I'm willing to jack it up to N500 if there's 24 hours power supply.

In my area(Iju), we have steady power supply. Though, PHCN still do their thing but overall, electricity supply is much better. Our Fridge and Deep Freezer can testify to that.

There have been some marked improvement in d services of the power sector in my area in Abuja. There has been constant power supply recently. It seems the GEJ Transformation Agenda on power is working afterall. Let's keep our fingers crossed & look out 4 more improvement.

I am satisfied with the power supply a i get 20hrs a day for the past 1 an a half month now but the bill is crazy.I suspect this june's bil will be higher and thats why they seem to be steady supply everywhere so people wont really feel it once they get the bill which am expecting in a forthnight's time.

gossips:

Is it the same ikotun that I live in or another?
Cos here, it is rationed and when it ones turn, you can hardly predict when

This is a distribution challenge. You guys don't have enough step down capacity to go round every area thus the rationing. Better to lose some hours of power than to lose the transformers.

My street is Oyegbola off Kayode St Onipanu, Lagos. There is light in my neighbourhood but not in our transformer for over 3 weeks now. PHCN excuse is that the transformer oil cannot be refilled in the rain whereas there has been sunny days within the period. I cease this opportunity to appeal to Shomolu District who is saddled with responsibility of fixing it to come to our rescue as PHCN bill do exempt customers without light especially this weekend as I heard from our marketer 08033357696.

Secondly, anybody in the house having contact to those that can act on my complain should be please avail me of such information. God bless Nairaland!

Power situation in my area is terrible,3hrs of electricity spread through the day.
We have lost faith in PHCN and have since shifted our faith to" I pass my neighbour generating sets",people not make friends with fuel pump attendants at nearby filling stations just to be sure of getting fuel regularly.
