Travel / Re: Spain Schengen Visa by 987Real: 1:45pm On Dec 11, 2022 |
There is little or no useful information here. The very few people who were able to get a visa have been selfish in giving out basic information of the steps they took in getting the visa. With the little details I have read so far it seems Spain is quite an unfriendly country regarding visas. The visa application process also seems clumsy. 1 Like |

I will not attend the visa interview. Traveling to Mexico from Nigeria is too complicated and expensive. All my plans for Mexico are cancelled. Systrom: |

Turkish Airlines is now over NGN2 million from Lagos to Mexico City. I feel this is due to inflation and Naira getting weaker daily. I would rather use that money for something else in Nigeria. beautyuche: 2 Likes |

There is no direct flight to Mexico from Nigeria. The flight cost to Mexico is far too expensive. While the other airlines with lower airfare will require multiple transit visas for Nigerian passport holders. Trip cancelled. |

There is a status you can reach in life in which you do not require any agent to handle your visa application. Yemi Alade has gone far beyond using a visa agent. Yemi Alade is an award winning musical artiste known globally. The visa officers know exactly who she is because background checks are done but they denied her deliberately just to humiliate her. Stop defending your oppressor. Canadian visa officers are known for discriminating against Africans regarding visa application. noeloge82: |

I have come to the realization that Canada is deliberately delaying visa application process and denying Nigerians based on Nationality and race.

Kajolplus: I registered my profile and booked my appointment as an individual visa applicant so I might not be able to answer your question correctly. Lexman: Take a look at this screen shot link https://prnt.sc/YD_6lagNGjt_ I am not sure which stage you have gotten to however, if you have gotten to this stage then consular office should be Abuja. This is because visa related matters are processed and issued at Abuja only. |

Based on the information published on the Mexican embassy website you can travel to Mexico if you have a valid visa for USA, Canada, Japan, UK and the Schengen States. However, it is advised that you obtain a Mexican visa if you plan to travel frequently to Mexico. https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/nigeria/index.php/en/55-mexican-visa/140-mexican-tourist-visa Yes, Mexico has a consulate in Lagos but visa related matters are processed and issued at Abuja only. What the embassy wants to see is your bank statement for the last 3 months. The visa officer wants to know if you can afford the trip and if you are able to sustain yourself for the duration while you are in Mexico based on the funds available in your bank account. Income tax and vat certificate from FIRS does not give the visa officer any description of your financial status. The idea of presenting income tax and vat certificate from FIRS is all made up by Nigerians but I must point out that if taking income tax and vat certificate to the interview makes you comfortable then take it along. hungkee: |

Bimsebony: Please do not fall for anyone claiming to provide earlier dates. No random individual has the ability to conjure dates out of thin air. The 2024 appointment period was done intentionally by the U.S Department of State for some strange reasons which is unfair. It is sad that the first available appointment is in 2024. That is just the poor treatment we get because we are Nigerians. 4 Likes |

Jummy24701: They barely check account statements at B1/B2 visa interviews so it defiantly was not about money or income. From the look of things they just don’t want to issue the visa. 2 Likes |
