Travel / Re: Spain Schengen Visa by 987Real: 1:45pm On Dec 11, 2022
There is little or no useful information here. The very few people who were able to get a visa have been selfish in giving out basic information of the steps they took in getting the visa.
With the little details I have read so far it seems Spain is quite an unfriendly country regarding visas.
The visa application process also seems clumsy. shocked lipsrsealed undecided

I will not attend the visa interview.
Traveling to Mexico from Nigeria is too complicated and expensive.
All my plans for Mexico are cancelled.

Hello boss, was your Mexican visa issued ? Have you been to the embassy this year ? Are they still issuing visas to Nigerians ?

Turkish Airlines is now over NGN2 million from Lagos to Mexico City.
I feel this is due to inflation and Naira getting weaker daily.
I would rather use that money for something else in Nigeria.

There is no direct flight to Mexico from Nigeria.
The flight cost to Mexico is far too expensive. While the other airlines with lower airfare will require multiple transit visas for Nigerian passport holders.
Trip cancelled. angry angry angry angry

There is a status you can reach in life in which you do not require any agent to handle your visa application. Yemi Alade has gone far beyond using a visa agent.
Yemi Alade is an award winning musical artiste known globally.
The visa officers know exactly who she is because background checks are done but they denied her deliberately just to humiliate her.
Stop defending your oppressor.
Canadian visa officers are known for discriminating against Africans regarding visa application.

noeloge82:

The agent that she used may not have packaged her application to lead to this because he meets all the required criteria and she has enough travel evidence to show ,something must have gone wrong

Greetings,

For a family (father, mother and child) application:

1) Does each applicant create account, then book appointment?
OR
2) Does one account that is created by principal applicant will be used for all applicants?

Thanks!

I registered my profile and booked my appointment as an individual visa applicant so I might not be able to answer your question correctly.
Kindly channel your question to the embassy directly.

Greetings,

Thank you so much for posting this here as it is even different from what is on the Embassy's website, which is not even going through.

Using this link, I have been able to register, however, in filling further details... It's saying, "no office found" under the consular office tab. As a result, I can't proceed.

I'll appreciate your guide, please.

Thank you.

Take a look at this screen shot link https://prnt.sc/YD_6lagNGjt_
I am not sure which stage you have gotten to however, if you have gotten to this stage then consular office should be Abuja.
This is because visa related matters are processed and issued at Abuja only.
Travel / Re: Traveling To Mexico General Enquiries by 987Real: 8:47am On Jul 06, 2022
Based on the information published on the Mexican embassy website you can travel to Mexico if you have a valid visa for USA, Canada, Japan, UK and the Schengen States. However, it is advised that you obtain a Mexican visa if you plan to travel frequently to Mexico.
https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/nigeria/index.php/en/55-mexican-visa/140-mexican-tourist-visa

Yes, Mexico has a consulate in Lagos but visa related matters are processed and issued at Abuja only.

Travel / Re: Traveling To Mexico General Enquiries by 987Real: 12:34am On Jul 05, 2022
What the embassy wants to see is your bank statement for the last 3 months.
The visa officer wants to know if you can afford the trip and if you are able to sustain yourself for the duration while you are in Mexico based on the funds available in your bank account.
Income tax and vat certificate from FIRS does not give the visa officer any description of your financial status.
The idea of presenting income tax and vat certificate from FIRS is all made up by Nigerians but I must point out that if taking income tax and vat certificate to the interview makes you comfortable then take it along.

Where was your visa revoked? Why was it revoked?

Neither the Department or CPB handle this correctly usually. It is not a permanent ban, but it can take years for a new visa to be issued.

Whether a visa is cancelled, revoked or denied the real reason for the refusal is never given.

I view the American visa application process as an exploitation.

DrStrangelove:
Exactly, u would only nice polite sounding emails about reapplying and elaborate information meaning absolutely nothing from them.

Depending on ur presumed offence or infringement, if ur denied the second time on the same class of visa or another class, just give them space for now.

Try other places for now and rebuild ur history

Goodluck

I am facing the same issue.
Pilot4Airbus:

The transcript was this month appointment for a different visa category and the email in bold was an inquiry response in 2018 when I and my brother were denied boarding and visas were revoked at the embassy when we returned to the embassy.

If something really was wrong then they should’ve revoked the visa in 2017 when my mom went for renewal and she was refused, and she did go with our passport then to show that we are in Nigeria.

For me I didn’t break no rules in my previous travel… I wouldn’t hide any info here.

If I did something wrong I should be scrutinize at my interviews with questions surrounding it.

My village people might be working overtime or they’re mistaking me for someone else

I’m thinking about sending an email really.

Hello People, please how are you people getting interview appointments. I just checked the scheduling page and i saw this First Available Appointment Is Tuesday January 23, 2024.. This is serious ooo 2024 bawo. Please is the way to get an earlier date?

please your guidance is need. Thank you.

Please do not fall for anyone claiming to provide earlier dates.
No random individual has the ability to conjure dates out of thin air.
The 2024 appointment period was done intentionally by the U.S Department of State for some strange reasons which is unfair.
It is sad that the first available appointment is in 2024.
That is just the poor treatment we get because we are Nigerians.

Maybe the money you are earning is not enough to cover Both the expense of your wife or from this transcript , I think u got denied cos of your wife’s travel history

They barely check account statements at B1/B2 visa interviews so it defiantly was not about money or income.
From the look of things they just don’t want to issue the visa.
