I Just completed my 1st Degree in Computer Sc and have up to 100k left in my pocket. I have no job currently but had undergone CCNA training. My question is, do i start up a small business with the money or do i complete the CCNA certification with up to 70k. In addition, my nysc maybe batch A next year. Kindly advice me. Thanks

Questions you should answer:

What do you WANT? Do you want to go into business for short or long term purposes or do you want to build a career?

If you want to go into business, what kind θf entrepreneur do you want to be? Do you want to build a business centered on your career or just any business that brings in cash?

I suggest that whatever you choose to do, please think longterm! Do not think for the present only but make decisions with the future in mind. If computer/IT is where your passion lies and you also see yourself getting into business in the future, then you might want to consider starting up a business in the future that offers specialised IT services, your focus now should therefore be on aquiring the relevant IT skills, work experience and building the right network so that when you launch out, you are fully prepared.

Spicy ahs given you good advice. Truth is you are the one who knows you. Being an enterpreneur is not a day's job. It can however be very fulfilling if done right. N100,000 is not small to start but you must define exactly what you want to do and have the singleness of mind to be dogged about achieveing your goals. Done well, you would have more than enough to still do CCNA if that is what you want.
