1. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES
 Responsible for assisting the MIA in formulating and implementing internal control procedures for effective running of organization’s operations and directing internal audit staff;
 Assisting in ensuring that sound internal control systems are built around the assets of the organization to properly safeguard them and staff adherence to the controls;

2. MAIN FUNCTIONS:

 To assist in preparing audit programmes for internal audit assignments from time to time;
 To assist in directing the activities of internal audit team in accordance with standards;
 To obtain relevant background information necessary to meet the objectives of various audits;
 To coordinate the preparation of working documents and detailed procedure;
 To take part in writing audit report and making appropriate recommendations for improvement;
 To assist in coordinating the activities of other members of the audit dept. in the office or in the field;
 To help in administering the Internal Audit Dept.
 Any other job that may be assigned by Manager Internal Audit.

3. PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 An HND or BSc/BA Accounting graduate;
 A Chartered Accountant of not less than 2 year post qualification experience;
 Audit experience in a firm of chartered accountants or in internal audit dept of a well organised company;
 Must have sound written and oral communication skills;
 Analytical attribute is essential;
 People skill is necessary for success in this job
