Still widely practiced in numerous ethnic groups in Nigeria?. I know people has begun to frown on these practices but how is it conceivable to cut a 'clit' (clitoridectomy) of a young innocent girl, how can our ancestors be so clueless. A girl will do whatever irrespective of whether the clit was cut or not, i just can't imagine the pain. plz it is your duty as a rational human to challenge and change norms that are detrimental to women health.

i guess its getting outdated now.people are getting enlightened daily.though i think some religions still encourage that.all the same its a bad practice that should be stopped and eradicated.
