Wow... so true what Lewis said. Nigeria can get better. We in Africa were divided along colonial interest not divided along cultural synergies and this has formed part of our problems today; espcially in Nigeria where people will rather give jobs to people from their tribes or interest groups than those who are qualified for it. Federal Character laws affecting maximum productivity negatively because we need to keep a balance in governement across all regions. This is what has bred corruption in Nigeria. Our people never saw government as their collective channel to help the society but saw it as a channel to take back what the developed world took from them. We had our system which the all knowing colonial masters discarded and forced their system down our throat. This has bred resentment, thus anything that looks or feel like the white man's way of life, an innate unconscious part of our race want to destroy it. It is a quagmire for me. God bless Nigeria.
