UI ACCEPTS nd allow 2 sittings but with 6 credits,dnt allow anybody 2 scare u off.just knw the relevant subject u have 2 pass.

Addressing d issue @ hand, UI accepts 2 sittings but not in all faculties especially in college of medicine... If u choose any course in d above faculty with 2 sittings, though u wil shortlisted for d putme if both d o'level and jamb is owk, infact u wil b admited to dat course asuming u passd d putme, but durin clearance u wil b askd to change to anoda course dat is outsyd d faculty... Cos frm ui bronchure, d rule says only one sitting is acepted in college of med...
I am nt speaking frm personal experience but dis happened to a gud frnd of mine dat av jus bin admitted to human and kinetics....

Rustication for real @ the University of Ibadan... 3 days ago, 17 students were expelled while others were suspended for 2 semesters and some denied of accomodation through out their studentship.
A total of 64 students faced the panel with chemistry have the highest of 7 students, physics and phsycology with 6 each etc. A PhD hons. was also withdrawn with several Masters students.

Ph.D, EXPELS 17, RUSTICATES OTHERS
Authorities of Nigerian’s Premier
University, University of Ibadan, has
withdrawn the Ph.D awarded to Mr.
Babatunde Idowu and expelled 17
other students from the University.
The University in its recently released
Bulletin, dated 3/12/2012, published
65-man list of students who faced its
central Student Disciplinary
Committee between Tuesday 27 and
Thursday 29th November 2012 for
various offences. These offences were
summed up as examination and gross
misconduct.
Of the 65-man list in which a name
was repeated twice, 39 students were
tried for allegedly committing
offences amounting to gross
misconduct while the remaining 25
persons faced the committee for
examination misconduct. Of the 64
students listed, the department of
Chemistry top the list with 7 students,
Physics followed with 6, Psychology,
Geology and Law followed with 5
each , Aquaculture and fishery,
Biochemistry and Political Science
had 3 students each while statistics,
Veterinary Medicine, Agric & Forestry
and Archeology produced 2 students
each. Other departments whose
students faced the committee
included Mathematics with 2 Masters
Students and Adult Education with a
Pd.D holder among others.
Prominent among the students on
the list is Salako Tokunbo, the
immediate past Students’ Union
President, who was alleged to have
committed offences amounting to
gross misconduct and was strongly
reprimanded. A notable case on the
list is that of Sanni Mojeeb Moradejo,
a graduate of Aquaculture and Fishery
MGT, who was denied his degree for
offences amounting to gross
misconduct as well as Mr. Babatunde
Idowu of Adult Education whose Ph.D
was withdrawn for Examination
Misconduct. (See complete list
below).
In all, 16 students were issued
Expulsion verdict while 1 was
expelled outright. 11 students were
rusticated from the University for 2
semesters, 5 were rusticated for 4
semesters, while 2 Masters Students
were rusticated for 3 semesters. Also,
7 Students were advised to withdraw
from the University for Poor Academic
Performance, 11 students were
strongly reprimanded, with 8 of them
banned from securing
accommodation on the University
Campus. 4 students were discharged
with two seriously warned, a student
was declared to have abandoned his
programme while another was said
not to have no record in his
department. 4 students’ Studentships
were declared to have lapsed, while a
case was referred to the University’s
Solicitor.
