In my bid to know more about how the recharge card business works and how to profit from it, I also paid this Taiwo guy for this his poorly researched and packaged ebook. Most if not all the information on his ebook are obsolete. I still have a copy and I can send it to anyone who cares. All these Nigeria information marketers are not really doing a good job with their ebooks. During my research I also discover you can also get a FREE recharge card printing software that can print most of the networks. I will try to post a list of some distributors you can buy pins from nationwide maybe 2moro. |

Due to popular demand, I have decided to fully explain the business of GSM RECHARGE CARDS so that even a newbie can understand. I will not hold back anything and should anyone have a question, do not hesitate to ask on this forum for the benefit of all. For those who wish to ask some personal questions, simply send me a mail @ tosabem2000@yahoo.com. For newbies, we must realize the fact that although the business of GSM recharge card is very lucrative, it is also relatively CAPITAL INTENSIVE. The amount of capital you invest in the business depends on your level of entry. In other words, if you intend to be a major distributor to any of the telecom companies, you must have a registered company and must be ready to invest between N5M to N10M depending on the telecom company. Your registration will also depend on the availability of the DEALERSHIP. To the best of my knowledge, at this moment I doubt if a dealership slot for the Lagos environ is available. To confirm all the basic requirements and availability of dealership slots in any state, simply go to the office in your state for inquiries. If a dealership slot is available and you meet up with all the requirements, then you are in business because you will get the pins very cheap. Note that you have to register with all the different networks in Nigeria independently to become a major dealer for all the networks. I guess you realise that this involves a lot of money. For those who might not have so much money, you will have to register as a sub dealer with any major dealer with the major dealers. The requirements differs from one sub dealer to the other. Therefore,it will not be necessary to ask me what are the requirements are. In a nutshell, the amount you need to invest to become a sub-dealer varies from one dealer to the other. To get the CURRENT dealers in any state in Nigeria, you will have to go the offices of any of the telecom providers. This is so because some of the previous dealers have folded up due to competition from other dealers. At this point, if you have so much money to invest either as a dealer or a sub dealer, you know what steps to take. Does this mean that the common man with a lesser amount of money cannot invest in the business of GSM recharge cards (PRINTING)? The answer is yes, you can start the business even if you have limited funds. The only difference will be your level of entry and participation. We must understand the fact that it what matters most in this business is the cost price of the recharge cards and the cost incurred at getting the cards at a particular price. What I mean is that we should not be carried away by the terminology or the use of the word SOFTWARE. You may be surprised that at the end of the day, it doesn't make your printing cheaper, rather perhaps more expensive. I will now go further. There used to be a company calledI PREPAID NIGERIA. The company offered their software for FREE. Unfortunately, their prices were not competitive at all. Since they are no longer in existence, there is no need going into all that. The second company I know of that uses a software for printing GSM recharge cards is called Ringo Telecoms. The software costs N10,000. It can print ONLY the lower denominations of all networks. ie N100 & N200. It cannot print the higher denominations like N400, N500, N750, N1500 etc. Therefore you are limited to printing the lower denominations. You will have to take your laptop to their office at 115/117 Allen , Allen junction by Tantalizers, Ikeja, Lagos. It is most pertinent to note that the fact that you have bought the software does not make you get the pins CHEAPER from the same company. These are the costs incurred if you are to print ONLY the lower denominations using a software. 1. Software - N10,000 2. A4 paper - N900/N1000 3. Internet modem - N5000/N10000 4. Monthly subscription - N4000/N6500 ( depends on the user) 5. A valid email address. 6. A printer - N9500 7. Ink - ? 8. 100 units and above for each network and denomination to get the pins at the cost price listed below MTN 100 - N95 = N9500 MTN 200 - N190 = N19000 GLO 100 - N93 = N9300 ETI 100 - N91 = N9100 VISA 100 - N91.5 = N9150 MULTI 100 - N92 = N9200 XCOMMS 100 - N91 = N9100 These prices are not fixed but subject to change at any time. The total cost of the pins amounts to N74350. This is if you are to print all the lower denominations only of all the networks. Well, you may ask if perhaps you can reduce the volume of the pins you are purchasing but I guess it may affect the price. The customer care personnel I met there was not very open when I tried knowing the exact prices I will get the pins. He said that the prices vary. Well further inquiries from their other office where the cards are sold over the counter revealed that one actually gets the pins AT THE SAME PRICE! It was funny because the lady in quote said " Better buy the recharge cards over the counter ". They are the same prices and you will save money on all the other recurring expenditures. If you live in Lagos around the mainland area and Allen is close to you, you may as well buy the pins over the counter and save your self the stress of printing via a software. But if you live far away from this address, you may decide to use the software. But before that, answer these questions. 1. Do you wish to sell to the end user? 2. Do you wish to distribute those who sell to the end user? This will determine your level of entry into the business. For those who wish to sell to the end user, answer these questions, 1. Where is your location? Is it a school, church, market, plaza, estate, government quarters?etc 2. Who are your target market and what is their demand? Some of our clients who conduct their businesses in the Apapa and some markets such as Balogun markets in Lagos do have their customers purchase more of the higher denominations or recharge cards than the lower denominations. Others in universities actually record a mixture of both higher and lower denominations. Therefore, knowing your target market will enable you know how to venture into the business. You do not need to come over to Ringo if it is very far fro you. Simply locate any major dealer in your vicinity and make your purchase. The higher your purchase, the cheaper you get the cards. Make your due diligence before purchase. THE USE OF THE POS MACHINE The POS machine is powered by Inter Switch. Unlike the software process, the machine can actually print ALL DENOMINATIONS from ALL NETWORKS. From MTN 100,200,400,750 etc to AIRTEL, GLO, STARCOMMS, etc. It prints any denomination. It is the only machine that has the ability to do this. It can also print DSTV,& GOTV scratch cards. You can actually start printing recharge cards with as low as N1000. This excludes the cost of the machine. With the use of the machine, the use of a software , ink, A4 paper, internet connection , email address, printer and so on is no longer required. Also, you have access to ALL the denominations from ALL NETWORKS at any point in time. The process is safe because you do not carry recharge cards about. Rather, the machine prints the cards on demand. The machine is also pass worded. Loading your account on te machine can be done from your ATM card. Simply read my ealier post on this thread to get all the details of the machine. Find below the cost price of the cards on the machine. MTN - 5% ie MTN 100 = N95, MTN 200 = N190, MTN 400 = N380,etc GLO - 6% ie GLO 100 = N94, GLO 1000 = N940, etc Other networks 7%. eg , AIRTEL 100 = N93, N1000 = N930, etc It is convenient, safe and portable. All records of the transaction are digitally accessible. The machine costs N75,000. All those interested should please send a mail to tosabem2000@yahoo.com Now, I hope this throw throws more light on the topic of recharge card business. I welcome all questions and will provide answers to the best of my ability. God bless you all. 5 Likes |

sunky644: You are right but Dealers or BULK PIN seller are skeptical of those they sell PIN to as they have to be sure of your credibility because if anything go wrong with the PIN you sell out, you'll be the one to be traced and fined not considering the person that commited the crime as we've seen some so called wanna be a printer who are scammers printing a PIN several times as I've been a victim when I bought an 100 recharge card mean that I forgot to carry along with me my recharge card box but the card could not be loaded and I was told that that the card has been used some 4 days ago by another person when I called customer care. Imagine as the card was stapled and still fresh and If I'm to take it up serious,I could locate the dealer through which that PIN was sold and severely fine him or her. Can you now see why? |

Let me even share the "Step By Step Guide To Starting A Recharge Card Printing Business In Nigeria" that I posted it link above to make it more easier to access and it is below drafted from www.nairaland.com/1016297/step-step-guide-starting-recharge and it goes as thus: 1st of all,Recharge card printing business is billions of naira business. You have made the right decision getting this package and all I will tell you is to ensure that you do everything you will learn from the manual in order to make and live the kind of life you have ever dreamed of. Secondly, you will agree that GSM user's base is almost 100 millions and is still growing. Despite this million making potentials in the telecommunication-GSM industry, "some people" are still not making a living with it. With the information on how to start this business sold everywhere in manuals, CD, softwares or VCD packages, I have noticed that a lot of people are still not investing in this business. What are the reasons? There are three reasons i have researched. 1. People habitually read, rather than make use of it, dump and start to tell stories. 2. Those who would have started but could not afford the start up capital-#400,000 3.Those who however, started discovered they could not make the money. The bases of this eye-opening information are for the third category above-"those who however started but could not make the money". Rather than "return on investments" they can't ever get the "return of their investments". The universal truth is still remains that business is a game of numbers. The more the number of people in your targeted market the possibility of making it big. Pause!!! Let me talk to our newbie, those who are reading the information for the first time or getting it in details like this for the first time, you are welcome to my blog. This introductory is for you. Ever before now, these cards were being printed abroad and imported to this country by GSM service providers-MTN, ZAIN and GLOBACOM. However, it was stopped by the government by making it compulsory for all GSM service providers to print their prepaid calling cards here in Nigeria. This, therefore, opened another investment opportunities for Nigerians-Agents, Distributors, Retailers And The Consumers. HOW CAN YOU TAP INTO THIS OPPORTUNITY? There are three options in the production of telephone (GSM) recharge cards, namely: dealership, sub-dealership and small scale recharge card printing. ....Mega GSM recharge Cards Dealership: This is a dealership/agency arrangement between the investor and the service providers. It is the most lucrative and rewarding but requires large amount of start up capital-#1,000,000.00 ....Sub-Dealership: This is an arrangement that can be attached to those who are distributors depending on the dealer. It is for those who may not have the financial requirements to be direct agents to the network service provider. With a minimum of #400,000.00 start up capital you can be a sub-dealer. ....Small Scale Recharge (voucher printing): This is the one you can start with #100,000 and make mega profit. There are two ways you can start printing recharge vouchers on small scale depending on the company you sign up with; 1.You can start printing through the internet 2.You can start printing with the voucher printing machine from a franchise company. Now, let’s delve into the nitty-gritty. Printing of recharge card can be done in two different ways which are viz: 1. With software, computer, printer and Internet connection. 2. Without software, computer, printer, Internet connection or electricity. WITH SOFTWARE, COMPUTER, PRINTER AND INTERNET CONNECTION. What you need to start this business are: 1. A desktop or laptop computers. 2. Internet access. 3. Printing software. 4. Printer. 5. Recharge PINs. Alternatively, if you don’t have a computer of your own you can use the cyber café. However, if you don’t want to use a cyber café you must ensure that you use a particular system for it on which you install the printing software that will enable you to print out the recharge PINs. STEPS TO STARTING THE BUSINESS. 1. Get your computer connected to the Internet or simply use a cyber café. 2. Register with a company (I will give you this later). 3. Download their software and install it on your computer. 4. Order for recharge PINs through their website and pay the required amount into their bank account. 5. Send them your payment details, e.g., name, email address, desired network, teller number and the amount paid. 6. They will send you encrypted PINs (these PINs can only be read or interpreted by the company’s software). 7. Use the software on your computer to print out these PINs. You got that right?.If yes,you will agree with me that you still need to know STEPS TO STARTING THE BUSINESS using SOFTWARE, COMPUTER, PRINTER AND INTERNET CONNECTION or without using SOFTWARE, COMPUTER, PRINTER, INTERNET CONNECTION OR ELECTRICITY. but make sure that you read this post to last page on how to get the full info compiled in a step by step ebook all for you for almost nothing but let us continue to the newbie's info before I unleash how to grab a copy of the EBOOK: Here are reasons those who started could not make the money which are faulty marketing strategies and leadership skill which I want you to take good note of. Marketing is the "Livewire" of any thriving business. It is not enough to have the money to invest and printing enough vouchers. You can print #100,000.00 worth of vouchers now and still be broke. What is the point? You must get your marketing and leadership skill right. Leadership is all about influence and managing relationship with your customers while marketing is about attracting potentials customers. WHAT MARKETING SKILLS WORK? Want to share a few tips with you that will guarantee you at least #200,000 a month. Do you know that all the phone boot operators buy vouchers from accredited printers? Design a small form to design names, phone numbers, address e.t.c go out in every street, meters away from your residence depending on how far you can. Explain to any operator you meet that you want to business with them. Also give them any benefit you think of. Give the form to the person to fill and find out how much voucher can the person buy in a day or week. As you take your leave, make sure you leave your contact with the person. Go round. There are many of them around, be friendly with them and even offer to give them credit facility. Don't be afraid, business is all about risk taking. ...Once you have collected as many contacts lets say at least 50 boot operators or even those who sell at home or at their shops. Build a database of the contact on anything, computer, notebook e.t.c. ....Obtain bulk SMS credits from any reseller to enable you send cheap I use BBN. With this you can start building relationship with them. This is where your leadership skill comes into play. Let me share a secret with you. In this part of the world where people have lost the sense of the community, individual relationship has become paramount. So people appreciate personal relationship. Always text greetings and other things you think can speak to their emotions to them. Always send information about stock of vouchers. If you have 50 people who can sell at least 50 vouchers of 100 each a day, i.e.50*50=#2500 2500*100=250,000 you can calculate the profit yourself. That is just one day from fifty people. What about 100, 200, or 300 people. Don't say it is not possible it is. Calculate it in a month. ....Another thing you should do is this; do you know that people that buy recharge card traveled miles, or even ride on okada to buy from dealer? If only some one could bring it down to them when they need it? This is their wish. People like ease and convenience thing. Rather than wait for them to come to you just start taking the vouchers to them. Encourage them to always pre-inform you when they are running out of stock. They will enjoy it. ....Try to give some credit facilities. Have you ever bought vouchers on wholesale? Those sellers don't give a dame. In fact they put strong gate or bar in front of you because you could also be an armed robber. They don't have relationship with customers “JUST PAY AND COLLECT YOUR CARDS" that is their philosophy. Hope the Information above helps a lot about you starting this recharge card printing business and to grab a copy of the EBOOK that I made mention above, pay the sum of N500 [Five hundred naira only] into the bank detail noted in the picture below between now and Friday. After payment, send your name, email and phone no to 0 8 0 9 1 8 3 3 8 6 6. After confirming your payment, your step by step comprehensive EBOOK about what I mentioned above will be sent to your email within 24hrs and you will surely start to be printing recharge card. Good day my fellow nairalanders and I hope that you are all cool. If you can remember vividly,I discussed on "Step By Step Guide To Starting A Recharge Card Printing Business In Nigeria" at https://www.nairaland.com/1016297/step-step-guide-starting-recharge on August 12 which made me to think twice about what has been the barriers that I've been debarring most people that want to start this lucrative business from starting ranging from Owning a personal computer be it a laptop or desktop computer,a printer and getting a Recharge card Printing Software which normally cost at least N10,000 which will only be installed to their PC which made this business to be looking like it is not profitable but thank God for my research since then and made this business easy to start with as little as N5,000 to start with. How?You might want to ask me.... No cause for alarm as I'm through with the research and concepts which I will brief in my next post. Happy reading.. |
