Most schools does not require IELTS for admission especially PhD. No tuition deposit in NZ, and school fees are paid in full before the visa. Pathway to PR is point-based. BSc is 4, Masters 5 and PhD graduate is 6 points. You can have working experience to add more point. If you have some occupation, you can apply for skill to resident, direct PR. Family is allowed for Masters and PhD. |

aiijay1:They do give funding to anyone irrespective of your Nationality once you meet the criteria, many have a published paper in a reputable journal. I have a Nigerian in my school who is on Scholarship. When I applied for mine, it was not successful, the main reason was no publications. So work towards paper publication and have a good grade in your Masters, you will get it. Lastly, subsidising PhD fee to around NZ$7k is a scholarship on its own. |

Good day, all, please help me access my profile. I want to access for Accountant or Auditor. Visa class 491 - 15 points. IELTS - I got at least 6 in each component 0 points. Age - 33 - 39 - 25 points. Education - though I have a masters in 2022, and I am thinking of using my bachelor's 15 points. Work experience - this is where I have an issue, though I can claim 8 years to give me 15 points, the issue is getting the documents to submit as most of my work is with a private small company and my salary is not going to my bank account from a company account. I also have a business I can use. My question goes thus: 1. Please which document do I need to claim work experience if am using my business? 2. If I am using the private company as stated above, which documents will I need? |

aodis: Interview mail for which type of application, visa, student (PhD, master)? If it's PhD it depends on the school and supervisors, my supervisor arranges mine after passing the admission criteria at the departmental level, everything comes fast within a week. No interview for visa application, if that's what you mean. |

Hello, Please does anyone know if there is Naija community in Otago? For those already in NZ studying PhD, how will you rate employment there generally and possibility of combining PhD with fulltime or part-time employment? I am starting my PhD Finance 1 November self funded, hence the need for this information before departing Naija to enable me plan well. Thank you. |

Hello room, I am submitting application for student visa for my wife. As a dependant, I choose to apply for an open work permit. From the document required, I was told to provide purpose of travel which includes a scanned copy of the flight ticket departing the can't travel itinerary and proof of medical. (See attached). Who has experience with what to provide here, please? Secondly, on my imm1295e form, under detailed of intended work in Canada, I chose open work permit and I was asked for details of employer, address, date and title of employment. What should I put here as no employment yet, just an open work permit? Thanks for your time.

Now I understand why you criticize people unnecessarily. If you are in position of that person, I mean not privilege through student visa, am sure you will do the same. We found ourselves in this country not by our power but God wishes. Am not in support of lies neither do I say she's leing, all am saying is stop critics and advise someone wisely. You quickly jump into conclusion on people when it comes to visa, I read most of your post in the Visa section. One way or the other, everyone have ever lied in their life time, even our president lied to Nigerians to win election. May God forgive us all. justwise: |

Below is my observation, though guru in the house will contribute. The main issue I can read from the refusal letter is about your bank statement. You are also trying to do same mistake in the new application i.e. 2m balance. Your account statement should convince the ECO that the turnover is reasonable, for example, the ECO check your balance as at July which does not align with August ending balance. Let there be correct flow in your account before reapplying. My suggestion. heiphe: 2 Likes |

If you have genuine intention, there is no way you won't receive your pin in Nigeria. I receive pin from Google using my address in Nigeria except you are part of those people that use 234 as their postal code. Google your area for correct postal code, if you leave in remote area, it will be delivered to your nearest post office. Meanwhile, if you insist on UK address, do your research there are companies that give you a virtual address and will send you your pin, simple. Daminovic: 1 Like |
