bro na 2.2 I read mass communication. It's not as if am always looking or sleeping at home like mumu o..am trying actually but nothang. Even those we gave cv are just saying wait wait but me believe in God. This year, no more cry for us. All of us here must get a good job
u had a 2.2 abi?that's cool.are you a christian? If yes,the best advice I wud give to you now is to take God seriously.Go to the church and see which group you can join.i don't mean mega churches where they won't notice you because you don't have money oh.go to a bible living church that's not too big.If its teaching you can do,tell them that you want to join the teaching group.if you can sing, join choir.if you can act, join the drama group. The reason why I can give you this hint is because I am a beneficiary from the church's grace.you will get people there who would care about you an help you get a Job. The bible says;"the gift of a man maketh ways for him"

Very true... Am a graduate but no job. If not for my mum ehn I would have committed suicide. To even barb my hair na wahala.
helo boss, what did u graduate with? You have to Look inwards, use and develop your God given abilities.if you are good at teaching, try joining a small tutorial centre you will some monies.if you can sing, then join a group.sing in the church.through that,God will connect you to people in church who might either help you financially Or get you a job.what you will ever need to make it in life you have it already.schooling has been overrated as the way to success.it was meant to help to develop your mind and prepare you for proper adult life.

Career / Re: Drama In The Office As I Tender My Resignation After Getting A New Job. by abayomi93(m): 11:38am On Feb 22, 2016
sirculynz:
After my service July last yr, my company refused to staff me, that I can only be employed as a trainee engr which comes with only small stipend. So I wrote this particular test online on July for one multi national company in lekki. 2 months later I got a text from them to come for interview, I was surprised. I went there. I was interviewed by an indian, the interview was so intense, he asked me many questions including sm calculations on electrical engr, I tink I got most. That interview lasted for abt 30mins each prsn & we where just 15. On dec, I got a call from them to come for medicals. By Jan I waited for them, I was tempted to go & find out my status from them @ their office but I kept cool. So on wed evening as I was leaving office I got a call from the HR of this new company, & she asked me to come tomorrow for their offer letter. When I went there & saw their offer, it was wow. we were 7, they apologised to us for taking this long to finally recruit us, that we were the lucky ones out of thousands of applicants & they had to do thorough screening. Omo that night I couldn't sleep, happiness won kill me. So the next morning when I went to my office to resign, I first told my boss, he was shocked cos I was one of his top engrs that delivers well. When I went to the HR to submit the letter. She asked abt the new company & i told her. She quickly had a meeting with sm top ogas & even the MD. Right there, she printed an offer letter, I was shocked. So after all this while, na now una know my importance. I told her dt my new company is gonna pay me 3x this offer & it's an international company with job security. After I greeted sm friends I left knowing fully well I'm going to a far better place. I'm resuming this Monday & I can't wait to get started.
So my fellow Job seekers, I wish u all the best. There are still good jobs out there u can get without knowing anybody. This year shall be our year of plenty testimonies.
Please ignore my typo errors**
that's a good one there, congrats.please what grade did u graduate with?

God allows such thing sometimes to show us that we are humans wt many flaws so that we won't share in his glory. however kno for sure that in our weaknesses, God can show himself strong. God might av ministered mightily to ur congregation, u never can tell
okey, thank you sir.most times I do very well, but I just can't understand what went wrong.may be its because its a new congregation sha.

Religion / How I Messed Up Today In Church by abayomi93(m): 2:02pm On Feb 21, 2016
Please,I need your encouragement because I totally messed up.I was asked to teach sunday school today in church.though I have been preaching before and it was spirited. But this was a new branch and a different audience,as we just moved to the new location.I prayed for the holy spirit's assistance as I always did.though God might have ministered to some people through the teachings.but I could not just flow.I was disorganized.though the audience didn't notice that, because I kept my calm.I made repetitions, used irrelevant references, couldn't quote bible verses I knew.I was just totally pissed and I felt like questioning the calling of God upon my life.but I just want your wise words please.

Please my younger sister just got admission into NOUN to study Mass Communication. Do you have any email with which I can contact you?
point of correction, she did not gain admission, she paid for the admission.how can a university not conduct entrance exams for her perspective students?how can you just go and pay jamb registration fees and they give you admission?.Mediocrity of the highest order.when Noun starts to conduct entrance examination for her perspective students, then I would have respect for them.how can a suppossed open university be admitting children of 16,17 years old?.its a work and study plan for God's sake. Atleast there should be age barrier so that we would know that its for working class people who do not have the time to attend full campus lectures because of their work. A boy would finish secondary school, instead of him to sit down and read to gain admission, they jump into Noun without Any test to prove their intellectual ability. No wonder a lot of them drop out of the programme after failing their brains out and wasting money and time.

God is always faithful! I was always complaining about my previous boss and I didn't know that God was preparing a better one for me. To cut the long story short, I applied jokily and even sent the link to a couple of friends. Luckily I was called for an interview and asked to resume two days after. My advice for jobseekers is that you should always put God first and apply directly to the company's email.
congrats bro.If I may ask, what is the class of your degree?
Education / Does It Realy Decide Our Fate? by abayomi93(m): 11:11pm On Feb 05, 2016
To My brothers and sisters in arms,My champions, and to those who have made up their mind to fight the battles of life and gain victory.I am faced with a little challenge as I swim through the oceans of sweat and blood to decide my fate.my case is with all those who have gone to school, and have graduated. But graduated with the well decorated " 2.2(second class lower honors degree)".These are my questions for you: (1)Have you ever regretted that you made a 2.2? (2) has life been difficult for you,nd you can trace your suffering to your certificate grade? (3)are you proud to be a graduate with 2.2 (4)and are you successful as a 2.2 holder? I am throwing this questions forward to all the 2.2 holders out there who can read this.Because, I would not have myself broken for a lost cause.though I refuse to be victim of circumstances, but some victims are more luckier than others.

have you ever considered,U.I. (UNIBADAN) ?they accept 2.2 very well.

One man whether a Seal or a Stamp CANNOT live to tell his stories with 50 men.

Education / Re: A Navy Seal Can Fight About 50people Single Handedly by abayomi93(m): 4:26pm On Jan 24, 2016
Well,I created this topic just to establish the fact that a Navy seal is well trained in close circuit combact.though I have not seen it happened, but I believe it is possible.because most people think they can fight.they think fighting is just about throwing punches.just like my friend who saw a boxer on Tv and said he can beat the boxer.most people are sedentary.they wake up every morning take their baths and go to work.no exercise, not enough physical activity.soo, you now want to fight a man who has been trained to be on the go for hours?a man who jug, runs, swims, carrys heavy items for extended minutes daily.their arms and feets have been trained to be on the move for long hours without getting tired.the navy seal will definately sustain injuries, but he will fight them.and even if they kill him,he wud have killed half of the sedentary folks.try and look into the exploits of Craig harrison, chris kyle and hathcock.you will see how effective a Navy seal is.

Hello Nairalanders, and military lovers. My pastor and I were discussing about the killing of Osama bin ladin. He said the Navy seals that were sent to kill bin ladin were Elite special forces. That one SEAL could fight about 50people single handedly. After that, one man in my street said that he learnt takwando, and that he won a black belt.he said he fought 40people single handedly, and that it is on record.soo,I just wanted to know if this could be true. Are they that well trained?

Education / Re: What's So Special About UNILAG? by abayomi93(m): 1:45pm On Jan 08, 2016
Unilag is a nice school.its the home of sociable exposure at the university level.since I have been in unilag,I have been opportune to meet lots of societal bigshots.starting from politics;fashola, ameachi, iweala, utomi etc.entertainment icons make unilag their play ground.from the likes of tuface, teju babyface, tekno, iceprince just to mention a few.the school organizes youth empowerment programmes that gives you the privilege to meet and interact with successful people.a lot of talent hunt shows that helps students to groom their talents, spiritual programmes where men of God like E.A adeboye,wf kumuyi,Dr dk olukoya are invited to bless us.soo, education is not all about books alone, its the development of your mind through certain exposures.which unilag ranks top at.
