bdon123: Most of you rant online and instead of admitting your ignorance you doubled down and continue to exhibit even more cluelessness, so his adopted mother was a drug dealer? Wonderful! I'm not going to dignify that nonsense with further response. Moving on to the other jargon you wrote, in the 1990s money laundering laws in the USA was still not fully enforced, in fact banks were still getting away with so much nonsense so why would it be farfetched that an accountant would handle money for clients and not fully know the source or even if he did that he would care anyways? KYC(Know Your Client) that is suddenly so popular nowadays in the financial sector basically did not exist in the early 1990s. The U.S. Patriot Act of 2001 introduced KYC regulations and made KYC mandatory for all banks in the United States but I guess it is easier to spew nonsense than to actually read! I live and work in the USA and I'm also a fiduciary so spare me the crap! |

bdon123: Everybody in Lagos knew his mother, everyone knows he was adopted, the hypocrisy here is that you think someone that was a senator, a two time governor owes you or anyone answers to such sentimental jargon. Furthermore, as an accountant he handled clients' funds, that money was not all his, it was 1993 not 1983 and when you handle funds from all sorts of clients you are bound to collect money from some bad eggs. He did the right thing by forfeiting the funds as ignorance is no excuse under US laws. 1 Like 1 Share |

onuman: Surely you can't be this oblivious? In the USA you don't even have to complete high school to get into the university, just write GED and SAT if the school requires it. 2 Likes |

onuman: Yea very detribalized, in fact we see how many Hausas and Yorubas are given chieftaincy titles in Igboland, from your brethren here on Nairaland with afonja complex to IPOB or not IPOB question on majority of Igbo people minds, least detribalized indeed ![]() ![]() ![]() 2 Likes |

waice6571: Sounds like excuses to me, we can also say because of old age and cabals we shouldn't really blame Buhari for what has happened to this country. When will y'all realize these factors exists with every leader? Their ability to overcome it is what sets aside the good ones from the bad! 2 Likes |

waice6571: Na rubbish you dey talk, yes Buhari na devil but don't try to do revisionist history here, Jonathan was also clueless and corrupt! At the time, he had to go and the fact that his party was ruling for 16 years did not help to reduce the anger and resentment, just like now that people are tired of 8 years of APC nonsense. |

Najdorf: I simply stated ask your mom, since kids learn through those around them so your mom or dad would be the best person to teach you how to discourse with adults but since you want to get vulgar and childish, let me roll you in the potopoto you brought.....quite simply........

GreyLaw: Arindin.....Doctored and cut what is the difference, here are more synonyms: manipulated, cropped, incomplete. Seems someone hurt you at a young age, seek help for all that built up aggression, you won't make it in life if you continue this way....Shalom! |
![]() |
GreyLaw: It's a pity you use trigger words but lack comprehension, so I won't bother arguing with you, Nairaland is an historical archive where you can see supporters from all the three major candidates guilty of what you just listed. So do us all a favor, shut the hell up! |

Mrtaye: Most of the speech was okay some gaffs here and there but overall most people there got the message. |

Mrtaye: It's on Youtube, someone here posted a link earlier. |

ZombieSlayer1: You're simply clowning, you build software as a service but you don't understand how a live TV stream can lose packet, you don't understand latency? You don't understand that delays from the source to the receiver could be up to 20 seconds and in some instances entire frames could be lost? This is why I rarely argue with Nairalanders, this information is freely available to via Google, educate yourself and stop being a nuisance! |

blank: I'm sorry he was mostly coherent except for 2-3 instances, majority of the speech had valid points, go and watch Tinubu's speech in 2000, the same slow but deliberate pace but no be me go convince you, na wetin you wan hear you go hear so I'm not surprised you left the other points and grabbed on to only the mistakes....It is well! |

observanc1: What does that have to do with anything? Technical issues can happen beyond TVC control, even CNN dey mess up sometimes, una don come with some more sentimental jargon ![]() ![]() ![]() |
![]() |
blank: You people are funny, whatever reason, the fact remains it was doctored. Man could have clarified what he wanted to say but because it was cut out we didn't get to hear it. The rest of the speech, he made some errors but was able to correct himself e.g. president instead of presidency. |
![]() |
ZombieSlayer1: Well then you're simply misinformed because my 20 years in I.T says otherwise, live TV does not mean delays from source to receiver won't occur, it does not mean frames can't be dropped, voice distorted etc, even advanced countries don't stream live without delays at times. Whoa I don talk too much, I've promised myself not to argue too much with primitive minds! |
![]() |
blank: Okay zoom specifically to the sentence before the gibberish and what happened afterwards, your brain does not tell you that some frames were removed? Whether it was technical issue or deliberately, the fact remains this is a doctored video. |
![]() |
ZombieSlayer1: Ode, I simply said it was doctored, which means the part that shows actual context was removed and only the gibberish was left. Yes he said it but from where? What was he talking about before that? |
![]() |
ganisucks: No need to argue with una, if you can't tell a doctored video from the real footage then that's on you, chief! |
![]() |
ganisucks: I don't live in 9ja so nope but it is on Youtube and you can clearly see the difference. |

WHY DO YOU GUYS NEED TO EDIT VIDEO? Tinubu makes enough mistakes without needing to result to such cheap tricks! This is why nobody takes una seriously, even the edit job was poorly done.....I guess anything goes when you want to trend, Obi supporters where do you guys actually stand? Today Reno is a correct guy, tomorrow una wan bash him head ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

ogatboy: You want a better life so you support Obi but would have gladly supported Osibanjo, the same Osibanjo that is directly or indirectly involved in hindering that better life not only for you but millions of Nigeria. This only confirms what I've suspected all along, majority of Obi's supporters stand for nothing and would gladly fall for anything. From Obi, a stand up, seemingly moral guy to Osibanjo the snake, mehn y'all are some funny creatures, UNA NEVER READY ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Una just dey set this man up for failure, over hype na wetin give us Buhari, this time around we don't need someone that is going to Aso Rock and play the guess game. Until Obi supporters can truthfully answer these two questions below, I'll continue to allow una to dey lick sugar: 1. WHEN WILL OBI DENOUNCE BIAFRA and ITS AGITATORS? 2. HOW DOES OBI PLAN TO KEEP CABAL, HERDSMEN AND OVERALL NORTHERN RELIGIOUS CLASHES IN CHECK? WILL HE CONFRONT THEM & RISK THEIR WRATH or WOULD HE BRIBE THEM LIKE GEJ? These two questions as simple as they might look are actually the reason why many are so skeptical about him......I come in peace! |
