He didn’t quote his answer properly, when you get your study permit and about to travel, book your ticket with your airline and take the ticket with your study permit to a bank, ask that you want to do PTA, should be given dollars at the CBN rate but only to $4000 I think.

Greetings gurus and seniors in the room. Please I need your advice, please what are the migration options for medical doctors in Canada. I’m asking in this group with the hope that some doctors have successfully migrated and are practicing. A friend is open to either schooling or provincial nomination, but nomination takes time and it’s not certain. She has already completed her residency and is a consultant now but will still love to go back to school if that can work.

Not sure you can get a refund if you voluntarily redraw your application.

Hello gurus in the house,
I did my biometric since 7th April 2021 and up until now, my application is still under background check.
I want to know if everything is normal because is becoming so frustrating

Secondly Incase I change my mind about traveling how can I quickly cancel my application so I can get a Denial and be able to apply for refund from the institution I was admitted to?

Hello Nairalanders, I have this Growth on my right wrist and i really don't know what it is or what caused it,i woke up one morning and found the growth on my wrist.

who has an idea of what this is and How do I get rid of this it's been there for a while.
it doesn't hurt but I want to get rid of it.

God Bless my Mama for this, I had the same issue, it was embarrassing but Mama never let a day go by without massaging it, said that even with surgery, it will still come back and like a miracle one day it disappeared. So keep massaging it and like some people said, change your sleeping position.

There are definitely lots of blacks working and living in Airdrie. A Nigerian even owns a Pharmacy store, and Propak Inc. A major employer in Airdrie employs a lot of immigrants. There are Nigerians working there as well.
Driving to Airdrie from Calgary during winter is not fun though.

I'm currently working in Propak's office, their Engineering and Sales Division, know its a big company but right now it's just us who are the only blacks in the building. If you say so, then I'll have to go find where my brothers and SISTERS wink are because over the weekend I went to CrossIron Mills shopping mall and same thing as well, saw only like 3 blacks and they kept avoiding glances lol. Please directions would be nice Sir. Thanks.

Hi beautiful people of nairaland, been a silent reader and I come here for information and motivation. Applied for a business visa late July and was successful (got the visa in less than a month). This is making me one week in Canada, came in via KLM with their stopover in Amsterdam. Currently in Calgary as that's where the company we are doing business is located. Winter is already here mehn, had a snow storm yesterday and roads are icy and it was not funny but we still had to come to the office. Life's generally peaceful and quite maybe because we are in Airdrie which is an industrial area, all I see are whites, no blacks at all maybe if I go to downtown Calgary I may see my brothers & Sisters. I'll really like to connect with anybody who's here so please send a pm or something. Kudos guys.

Yes, you stand a chance but it's very Slim

No, It doesn't matter.

No, there is nothing like that.

Very true.

My Advice to you:
1. Start from the begining again. Yes!.....I mean a Humble Beginning which means applying for another BSc. (This is your Best Shot) As most of the people I know used this strategy and now, it's a success story.
2. Re-Apply again with your 2.75 to some other schools but you really have to garnish your CV and Motivational Letter/SOP with the massive experience you have amassed from your professional work.

So apply for both BSc and MSc. I am very sure you will be happy to make it into Germany at the later end.

#BraceUpBrother
#GermanyIsWorthIt

Thank you for your very frank words, it has made me seat up, but mehn age is not on my side starting afresh. so was looking at Australia rp stuff, lots of job for I&C engrs but i need to do some certification and trainings, but nothing beats having a masters degree in germany so i can easily register as a cpeng... thanks once again.

Please anybody who still has ideas should please send a pm or drop some here.

Regards

Thanks so much for your reply, i studied electrical/electronics engineering and i'm working as an instrumentation and control engineer, so wanted to add any course that offers major in 'process automation', as that will add relevance to my working experience to be an all rounder. My movitation letter was good i guess, but since uni-assist didn't forward my documents the school couldn't vet it.

I'm currently looking at Electrical Engineering and Information Technology - International Master of Science • Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, please any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

U need to know that with your grade, u can secure Admission(s) but firstly ur motivation letter needs to be in good shape and secondly try to apply to non popular schools.
Can u kindly let us know what u studied previously

All my ogas, Jigba, honourableseyi, justwise, Eke40seven I greet una... Please I have a question to ask or just words of encouragement, this journey of going to Germany for my masters program started since 2015, then my school in nigeria submited my transcript late to uni-assist, I wrote to uni-assist that they should keep my documents till 2016 wintersession. In 2016 I paid for the evaluation, my result came out, i had a low cgpa, after the evaluation i got a German grade is 2.75, I didn't pass the minimum of 2.5 needed for TH Köln - Master - Automation and IT, so this made me to give up since I'm still working and making a living but mehn the future prospect in nigeria and raising a family is hard. Now I'm back trying to get other options for 2018, so asking my ogas, if a German grade point of 2.75 with impressive work experience and motivational letter I can stand a chance of getting admission to a university in Germany? The current school I want to apply to, I don't need to pass through uni-assist will this increase my chances? or is the anything like taking some prerequist courses in Germany or PGD? I've read oga Eke40seven post were he said that anything less than a Nigerian cgpa of 3.0 you may not get admission how true is this? Also can I just come to germany and do some certification courses? can i stay back and hustle for a job, can one just move to germany and get employment as an engineer?

ifenuwon:
Good day pple,
I need your advice on some issues bothering me now
My gf( dating for 2 years now with pastor and parents consent) has been behaving very funny this days
She suddenly starts flirting with other guys openly and anytime I ask her who those guys are, she gets angry and tells me I have no right to ask her who they are even after I discovered she is having hidden chats and dates with them
The first instance happens to be on her birthday,I planned to take her out and on getting to her shop I met dis man there, though I didn't ask her who he was bt on getting to the eatery she became very cold and didn't eat any of the things I bought for her...On asking her who the guy was she started telling me I shouldn't ask her bt I later got to know the man cos his wife happens to be a patient of mine( I am a male nurse)
Second instance happens to be with a street guy I know
Though I recently started seeing the guy in her shop every day bt didn't ask her anything.my suspicion arose wen the few times I actually met the guy in her shop
She starts acting strange and both of then get very quite
In one instance the guy was just in front of her and she texted him not knowing I saw what she was doing... And the following they I met them together on the way and immediately the guy saw me...he pretended like he wasn't with her and stylishly walked away
Wen I asked her who he was
She started over reacting and telling me I shouldn't ask her and if I don't trust her that is my problem
Now I don't know what to do about her cos our families her close and we go to the same church...pls I need ur opinion
No insults

walk away mahn, if you can't have a heart to heart talk with her. if you want the embrassement of a broken home in the future, do whats right now. my two kobo...

This is just the beginning of what many of us saw years ago and many here called us several names. It is sad, we are loosing ALL so early.

Who can still remember the name of the INEC chairman? When last did you hear from him? APC is in charge of ALL, both INEC, and SECURITY but BC of personal interest, they lost their consciences to do what is right.

I also said it here months before the general election that many people that left PDP were the problem of PDP and Nigeria and they left PDP to form APC bc of their phobia for what is right. They cant cope with civility that GEJ stood for when he stopped politics of imposition and OBJ legacy of do or die. We are back to where we were before GEJ.

God bless you for your write up, we all saw this all along.
