Real Estate is really a good line of business but you need a second income stream to sustain before business comes or in between businesses. If you depend on it completely you might run into trouble with your finances. Reason being that you need to be careful and scrutinize all documents and get your client to conduct proper search to avoid getting into trouble. Do NOT be in a hurry to close a deal. @lawyer, Thanks for your exhaustive explanations but I do not agree with you on the issue of the commissions payable.The buyer pays 5% of the price at which he is buying from the owner to the Estate agents who facilitated the deal. Then the Owner of the property pays 10% to the Estate agents and Lawyers. What you have described is obtainable in leasing agreements.Outright purchase is a different ball game altogether. 1 Like |
