The efficiency of a generator to covert mechanical energy into electricity is 95%
1L of diesel produce 10kwh of electricity, I believe you know what 95% of 10kwh is..

I am not talking about mechanical to electricity you dumb, that is your own argument. I am talking about chemical energy/Diesel to finally electricity. Where did you get that 95%? You better shut up if you don't understand something. Only 30% of the energy in Diesel fuel is available as energy at the end. Thats why I told you 1litre of Diesel gives you 3kwh. You can go to even wikipedia or find an Electrical engineer to educate you. Don't reply me about this we better stop here.

The unit cost of electricity per kwh for residential users in 0.18 USD..... the average of a Ghanaian per kwh is averagely 400kwh..

Now use you brains and do a proper calculation....
The efficiency of a generator is not 20% but 99%.

The household cost 0.061 and business. 0.131usd. The fuel efficiency of diesel generator is 0.3 or 30% not 99% what's wrong with your head?

Even for 0.18usd price you get 5.55kwh for 1usd while you get 2.75kwh from generator. Still electricity is cheaper.

Actually, it is cheaper to power my house by generator than the electric grid.

The cost of electricity is very high in Ghana because 60% of our electricity comes from thermal units.

In Ghana 1kwh of electricity cost 0.061usd per household that is 1usd for 16.39kwh for electricity while

1 litre of diesel cost 1.092usd in Ghana. A litre of Diesel have 38MJ or 10.6Kwh of energy. When you include the efficiency of your Diesel generator that's 3kwh for 1litre which is 1usd for 2.75kwh.

So for 1usd you will get 16.39kwh from electricity and 2.75kwh from Generator. Electricity is cheaper than diesel in most places around the world.
