The population of Nigerians that attend Churches on the regular are not more than 10%. What happens to the rest of you-90%? Why can't you make Nigeria great? Wetin do una head?

What do you block heads do on Sundays apart from playing football (project Mbappe at 45 years), smoking igbo, and sleeping in bet naija shops in your neighborhoods?

Family / Re: Will I Regret Not Having Children by Acidosis(m): 6:47pm On Mar 27
Bullfallo:
Not wanting to have a child isn’t a choice per say. I hate to put myself into pressure or do things just because others are doing it, my lifestyle has always be different from public opinion.

This justification is somewhat weak. It won't take you too far before you "fold."

I live a live of comfort. I am rich and comfortable but not for many mouths. Because I don’t want adjust resources from my lifestyle.

Another weak reason. The responsibility of child raising does not rest solely on the man. Even if you choose to be with a full-time housewife, it is still cheaper to train a child (financially) than marry a wife. Certainly more expensive to be with a girlfriend. So what are you afraid of, really?

You can't completely dissociate yourself from a norm so long as you remain a social being. There are many things you may not want to do to impress anyone, like dancing on tiktok, hosting a big wedding, etc. Others like attending a school, getting a job, or having kids are not necessarily meant to appease the public.

There are many justifiable reasons why a man may not want a biological child, though. But your reason has to be strong enough to avoid regrets.

That's one thing about some women. They 'hate' dark skin but end up marrying someone with dark skin. Of all people, Mide shouldn't be the one insulting another woman over her skin colour. How can you marry an Afeez in his dark glory and then insult another woman for being dark? Total M A D N E S S.

And you, Habibat, has got a very low self-esteem. No use Mide as excuse. Contemplating bleaching over an insult from a woman with a dark-skin husband and dark-skin kids, only shows that you've never been proud of your skin colour.

In this life, no gree for anybody. If they come after your dark melanin skin, go after their washed-up light skin.

Lol. You still don't get the point, do you? I'm not advocating for currency hoarders. I don't "hoard" either. I invest when I have or need to.

I'm even of the perception that, apart from political sentiments and hoarding, the majority, which are the ordinary Nigerians want Naira to gain so they can go back to the life they had under Buhari. I belong to that school of reasoning.

I saw the unconfirmed report. But have you asked yourself why anyone will sell over 10k dollars at the black market in Abuja at a rate that is significantly lower than CBN and licensed BDC rates? Funny. Do you still think that an ordinary Nigerian is behind this?

No, I don't have any hoarded dollar. But trying to labell those who invested in dollar-denominated assets as enemies of Nigeria will be resisted.

Funny, I just listed several federal government-licensed platforms offering dollar-based investments, but none has been able to respond. Why? You people's "unpatriotic patriotism" no dey ever reach federal-government licensed Stanbic IBTC dollar funds?

Ask yourself, "what" is the enemy of Nigeria? A consumer who buys a dollar-denominated mutual funds, the platform that offers the funds, or the federal government that licensed these platforms?? All I see is an unparalleled hypocrisy or hate masked as patriotism to unpatriotic leaders. Let's jointly dare the federal government to name the top dollar investors with Stanbic, ARM, Anchoria, etc. if e sure for them.

Again, why the urge and incessant warnings to sell dollars? To who? You and the new sets of "hoarders" at cheaper rates? 😅

I am very sure of my stand and can bet against it.I knew the dollar rise to #1900 after floating was manipulation. And if you are sure on your side.Pls do sell all your asset and even borrow and go buy dollars. True demand and supply is making naira find its true value.
And in countries like China they would have executed the binance criminals. This country is too democratic in some crimes against the nation. Tell me what changed in our economy physical after floating of naira. Did our production reduced or consumption from imported goods increase. So what was driving the exchange rate daily if not manipulative speculation from enemies of the country.
Dollars will touch down to 1k soon because the genuine people who use it for business and other things have reduced thr demand for it.The demand will increase within #800-#1000 bend.I speak as a business man.

The demand for dollar has obviously reduced like you rightly said. I'm never arguing against that. If not for any other reason, many Nigerians have become too broke to afford foreign products (like toks cars). Japa has become unattractive either (unaffordable is the right word actually). This is not about enemies of Nigeria at work.

I've lived in Nigeria long enough to realise that when people like you threaten people to sell their dollars, then something obviously isn't right. If dollar is truly losing against the Naira (through appropriate fiscal and monetary policies), there wouldn't be a need to issue threats or warnings. No reasonable person wants to lose money. So, why are you and the federal government mouthpieces "threatening" people to sell off their dollars? Fear of depleting the reserves and borrowed funds?

You'll also be making a mistake thinking that the majority of Nigerians (ordinary people) have dollar stashed up somewhere. People wey dey wait make dollar fall so they can activate their plan. Lol. Even me, I dey wait like this make e fall to N600😅

You're making another big mistake thinking the ordinary people are the enemies of Nigeria. Na ordinary people released the Binance executive from a "heavily-guarded" detention?? Those who have lived in Nigeria long enough understand too much to blame the ordinary people on NL. Hehe.

More than 20 Fintechs have and still sell dollar-based investments to Nigerians. And I'm not referring to some unknown Fintechs, but rather the likes of Piggyvest, Cowrywise, Risevest, etc.

Nearly all asset management companies licensed by the federal government sell dollar-based investments. Some insurance companies do same. Even banks are not exempted. The likes of Stanbic IBTC offer dollar-based mutual funds.

When people say Nigerians are unpatriotic or scream too much about Binance, I tend to wonder.. I guess Binance is for the public poor, while the likes of Stanbic IBTC, ARM, FSDH, Anchoria Asset Mgt, etc. are for the big guys.

You're looking in the wrong direction by asking hoarders on a TBills thread to offload their dollars. Are politicians a joke to you? The only way to tame hoarding is to keep up with the positive trend. Offloading is not as important as ensuring that the Naira continues to gain. Na small thing dey make Nigerians panic. I don't see naira falling again.... Atleast for now.

There is absolutely no reason why the dollar should fall in the manner we have seen since Tinubu took over in the first place. Everything we see happening right now is caused by the cluelessness of one man.

Tinubu met the dollar at ₦700-₦800. He floated the Naira, claiming that the government could no longer subsidize the dollar. He also "removed" subsidy, and we all saw the consequences within a very short time (in few days).

What's happening right now is that Tinubu has realised his mistakes and is now doing everything within his powers to take us back to the Buhari era.

Firstly, the dollar is now being sold to FX vendors at a subsidised rate.

Secondly, petrol is still being subsidised with almost double the amount the Buhari government paid as subsidy.

It wouldn't be bad for Tinubu to come out and apologise for the grave mistakes he caused Nigerians. The entire BDC and Binance charade we saw would have still had the same "effect" without floating or "removing" subsidy.

If we look at it critically, the so-called monies he claimed he saved from "subsidy removal" have been completely wiped out by inflation. Some reports say that states like Delta got about a 25% increase in allocation in 2024 compared to 2023. That is a big loss, an insult. How does a 25% increase help anyone when people now pay as much as 300% of what they paid in 2023 to get a tin of Three Crown milk? To add to the injury, salaries have remained stagnant for government workers.

If exchange rate ever gets to 1k or under 1k, his next move will be to pay more subsidy on fuel, so Nigerians can go back to the old subsidized pump price. LOL.

Tinubu's mistake is completely unpardonable anywhere in the world.

It's dangerous when women encourage or enable men to become women. These men will come with their hidden masculinities to displace you where and when it matters.

It's never the same experience for women who try to become men. The difference is very clear.

Women should stop encouraging men to become women. When cross dressers like Bob have no one supporting their m a d ness, they always adjust. How do you all think that Bob will end at just cross dressing? Of course, he's coming for the awards. He hasn't even started yet.

Please expatiate.

Ahaha... Esther ooo.

Okay, here is the thing. God obviously loves children since the Bible says that they are His heritage. What that verse means is that children are given to us to nurture, love, show care, and lead to eternal life since they know nothing about God or His kingdom. When we take out that "eternal life," "love," and "care" responsibilities out of the way, then the whole idea of birthing more children becomes meaningless to God. It probably just becomes a biological or social exercise, just like buying a piece of cake to feel good or a pension plan to escape poverty, depression, and loneliness in old age (like most Nigerians do anyway).

...But that's my interpretation of the scriptures. I don't know, but your MOGs may hold a different view. grin

The whole point of modern day Judaism in either it's secularist form, reformed mutation or rabbinical religiousity is the rejection of Jesus Christ.

The rejection of Christ and the denunciation of Christ and Christianity are the fundamental pillars of Judaism.

While Mohammedism promotes Mohammed as the prophet of God with a cornerstone belief that Jesus is the first and truest Muslim whom will assist Muslims to install universal Islamism, Judaism exists solely to destroy Christianity and blog out the name of Christ.

You can not be a Jew without a deep seethed hatred for Christ.

Every afternoon in synagogues across the world Jews make a silent prayer condemning Christ and Christians.

Judaism isn't a racial profile but a fanatical religious creed based on hatred towards Christ and the church .

It's for this reason that Jews today accept the curse of deicide which their fathers accepted for killing Christ.

Jews and no other people are responsible for Christ death and are at the forefront persecuting the church since the day Christ was killed.

Every religion is based on certain prejudices and belief systems that appear as "hatred" towards the practices of others. You can't single out Judaism for condemnation. And last time I checked, I didn't see Jews sending rockets or suicide bombers to Christian nations out of this so-called deep-seated hatred.

The essence of the true gospel is to hate sin, not sinners. For instance, within Christianity, it is biblically correct for a Christian to condemn idol worship. Many Nigerian Christians have physically destroyed idols from their past, while others pray daily against these idols.

So it is unreasonable to expect a Buddhist or a Jew to respect Jesus. The real concern should be whether Jews unprovokedly kill people in Christian nations or force their religion on others, which isn't the case.

Although I have seen reports of Jews physically assaulting Christians in Israel, I have also seen report that confirms that that Israel isn't among the top 20 nations where Christians face the most persecution. If you love Christians so much, countries like Nigeria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, Syria, and Pakistan should be more concerning since they present and record more persecutions.

Most religions are intolerant anyway. Even among traditional worshippers in Nigeria, we see how masquerades flog people.

I'm less concerned with you, we are only analyzing history.

Why does the Je.w had to killed your god in the first instance?

And why is that boy righteousn.ess defending the killer of his god? That's my own plight

Blaming the Jews over the death of Jesus is like blaming all Urhobo, Isoko, and Ijaw people over the death of Nigerian soldiers in Okuama and Okoloba communities. This is pretty much the main source of antisemitism.

For proper context, Jesus was crucified by Roman authorities who saw him as a threat to their power and teachings. Yesterday was Palm Sunday and, as I rightly shared in my Sunday school class, even the Jews celebrated him. That palm you see everywhere on a Palm Sunday is symbolic. That was how Jesus was celebrated as he entered Jerusalem in grand style. He was celebrated by who? The same Jews you said hated Jesus.

Their (the public) disappointment only came because they thought Jesus was coming to destroy the oppressive Roman government under Pontius Pilate, but he (Christ) had a bigger and more important mission, which was to lay down his life (your own version of "killed" ). This is the basis and pretty much the beginning of Christianity.

So, each time you try mocking Jesus or spreading the jew-hate over Jesus's death, you're actually preaching the gospel. What is the gospel? To preach love to all humanity, including those who were directly involved in his crucifixion.

You and Mr. righteousness can condemn the incessant killings in the middle east region by Hamas and the Israeli government without spreading hate towards a people.

it is not same for most People.

As per Death, Yes Life and Living is a priviledge, even the Bible says, the dead can't praise God.

The Joy of having Kids, training them and leaving a good legacy is part of that oppurtunity. Moreso God Himself blessed Man with the opportunity. Be Fruitful and multiply and replenish the Earth and subdue it.

The mistake you're making is assume you're a more lovable father than I am. Hehe... 😅

The difference between you and I is that you expect everyone to show interest in "multiplying" through sex. I don't.

You're quoting too many scriptures to justify your own personal desires and lust. That verse of the scripture you're quoting is not for everyone. Are you Adam?? Why didn't Jesus get a wife and kids to fulfill that scripture if truly God wants everyone to "multiply" and replenish the earth?

There are more important things God wants Christians to do, but "replenishing" the earth with potential candidates of hell isn't one.
