Mr Card... is changing the narrative.

Honestly things are falling back to places.

With the look of things, naira will continue to gain massively.

Will quote you when it gets to 700

I will be waiting. I need that N700/$1 more than anyone else.

It's a gradual process

The economy is bouncing back.

When naira finally settled, it will shock everybody.

I envy your positivity. I wish the Nigerian government has given me enough hope in the past to think and write like you.

Politics / Re: What Exactly Was Done To Bring Dollar Down? Here Are The Reasons. by Acidosis(m): 2:03pm On Apr 14
The only reason is the fact Tinubu reversed his thoughtless floating policy. Unfortunately for him, Naira is still not back to N700 (pre-floating rate) and prices of goods have become unbearable. Even if Naira drops to N700, it is very unlikely that manufacturers will embrace their old prices (for example, N150 for a tin of peak milk, N200 for a bottle of Malta Guinness, or N500 for a loaf of bread).

Nigerians will have to continue to pay for the carelessness and sins of one man, but hey, lets "celebrate" BAT.

Dear seun,

Why is it that everyone can comment on a Christian thread but one has to be forced and converted to Islam before one can comment on a Muslim thread? What kind of religious war is this?

Seun has always been anti-Christian. His rascality has persisted because Nairaland Christians don't care anyway.

Wetin bring papa into this? As your papa no get sense to birth a sensible human being, I no fit blame you too much, my brother.

The difference between you and me is your affinity for self-deceit and fo, oli, shness. You have unaccountable thieves at the helm of affairs, yet you suddenly expect a common retailer to be upright. You will wait in vain. cheesy

I used to be like you a while back. But I know better now. Like the National Assembly, everyone is just trying to inflate and pad their budgets. cheesy

Next thing na to escalate fayawo (smuggling) business grin Since the government has decided to carry Bobrisky's matter on their head, rather than go after smugglers with hard evidence from Fisayo, I expect more smugglers in the coming days/weeks.

Like a funnel, this corruption will trickle down, from the richest to the poorest.

Accept that most of you as individuals are even worse and more corrupt. This one is ready to blame Nigerians greediness on votes!

Yorubas are the most tribalistic yet Akabueze, Igbokwe and other non-Yorubas like them got cabinet portfolios in the economic nerve centre of Yorubaland; Lagos..

Yorubas are tribalistic yet Obi an Igbo got votes in Lagos even more than what PBAT and Atiku got..

Yorubas are tribalistic yet Atiku won in Osun state..

The Igbos that are not tribalistic gave PBAT and Atiku less than 5 percent votes in all their tiny 5 South Eastern states.. gave Obi over 95 percent votes because he is Igbo..

The Igbos that are not tribalistic can't point to one non - Igbo (not even Yoruba now, just any other tribe) in their 5 South Eastern States cabinet..

When the Igbo can't subdue you or take what is yours to add to his own, he'll see every wrong in what you do. Those are the kind of beings we have been putting up with in Nigeria.. I before others.

The man who made the statement is from Edo state.

An Edo man made a claim, but you decided to attack Igbos. See the way you have now substantiated the claim that Yorubas are the most tribalistic. Just see what tribalism has done to you. Such a shame.

Leaving your husband to become a side chick to a married man is c. razy sha. But at the end of the day, no price is too much to pay for "freedom" as long as everyone shuns hypocrisy.

One thing about breakup is that there would always be a reason, trust me. cheesy When your mind is made up to break up, a justification will emerge. There's no such thing as a faultless, perfect partner.
