Politics / Re: 10 Most Expensive States To Live In Nigeria In January 2024 - Nairametrics by adanonso(f): 9:56am On Feb 17
I lived in Ondo and I live in Anambra. Food is very expensive in Anambra compared to Owo Ondo State. Though am in Anambra, I still buy some food in Owo Ondo State, food like garri, and some fruits. The size of plantain and banana I bought for 4k here in Nnewi is bought at 1k in owo. So once I see anybody coming from Owo, I buy foods there.

Anytime she falls sick thst she has to go to the hospital, follow her
While waiting for her medical test result to be out

Inform the Doctor about her consumption of those deadly foods

And tell Doctor to warn her to stay away from it if she wants to live healthy

I have an aunt that drinks cocacola like water, I warned her she didn't hear, her family warned her she did not take their words

I went to her family Doctor and reported it to him and ask him to warm her

The Doctor said he is tired of warning her and I ask the Doctor the way forward, he said she will reap it

Now she has Diabetics and her own is the bad one that she has been taught on how to inject herself daily morning and night

Its also affecting her seight as she uses eye drop that must be in the Fridge
.

I have a solution to her problems. Call 08103164131

Sadly,That's only the quality your money can buy.Our naira messed it up.You will only end up wasting more money if you keep fixing it.

A 43k android is buying HBP for yourself.
If not for police case, that money would have gotten you a 2nd hand better android up to 4gig ram last yr cos this yr it will be more.

Solñ ,go back there and tell them you want to sell it even if it's 8k or 10k,use it to buy Nokia ,bontel or itel button 📱.
You will have peace of mind until you can gather like #100k to buy better one.

I priced techno button with operamini they said it's 27k. I don't want to buy itel again

Politics / Re: Cost Of Living In Nigeria Is Cheaper Than UK Or US by adanonso(f): 5:21am On Dec 04, 2023
[quote author=psalmsjob post=127287043]I'm posting this as a response to the topic that made Nairaland front page yesterday; "See What Someone Bought With An Hour Minimum Wage In The UK £10", the link: https://www.nairaland.com/7929193/see-what-someone-bought-hour

UK & US ARE OVER-RATED NIGERIA IS STILL BETTER in terms of cost of living see a practical example why doing a price comparison: 1 pound to 1 naira today is N1,001 so are you saying with £10 x N1,001 = N10,001 you cannot buy everything in that basket and collect change in Nigeria today?

1 Sliced Bread = N800
2 Spaghetti = N1400
1 Gesha = N600
1 live chicken = N3,000
1 75cl soya Oil = N1,400
1 Midium size Butter = N600
2 Gino Tomato paste = N1,000

Total = N8,800 so your change is N1,200 that's if you exchange pound to naira at offical rate and buying at the most expensive stores or high brands. If you exchange at black market rate and buy at public market "days" you will collect as much as N6,000 after buying everything in that basket....that's about £6 left.
Why exchange to naira before comparingtell us what 10 of our currency can buy. And at this present day, where will you swe that size of chicken buy 3k? Even two weeks broiler for rearing is 2500

Na mouse them no dey chop. Them dey chop rat, just like them no dey chop toad, them dey chop frog 🐸. I saw what you did there grin

Them dey shop mouse. My late dad dey chop anything chopable. Only squirrel that is a taboo at his maternal village. If not, because of that man, I have tasted all kind of wild meat while growing up, chivet, leopard, monitor lizard(he uses to bring home the eggs something, all kind of bush rat. All kinds of bird except vulture. Different types of worm that's found on dead palmwine tree. Different types of fish, he used to eat that brown toad with big eyes. Even one-day we caught one small type of rat that eats snail and lizard. We trained it to a pet, one day as it became a little sick, we came back to meet his roasting it. I refuse to eat the meat, but my younger brother who is a meat lover like him ate it.

5 give it a thorough bath... cheesy
6. After the bath 🛀
7. Cut strategically and delete all the intestines. At this point you can grill the big bush rat, or continue like I did..
8. Another thorough bath, it's now like Oyinbo grin🛀...

I hate the smell of this rat whenever my husband and children catch and kill it. After they put cent leaves and curry leaves, it will still be smelling.
Me don't even like to eat small animal. Except bush fowl.

Wait oo.we gave my in-laws this type of trap, and it was stolen,, are you sure this is not it?

The thought of losing a loved one scares the shit out of me. I've been lucky not to have lost anyone close to me. Condolences to those who have.

For those that have lost loved ones in the past, I'm curious to know how you dealed with the loss, especially few days after their death.

Feel free to go into details if you want.

I lost my dad in 2021. After his final burial, my mom fell sick. I came home last year to stay with her a while and when I wanted to leave, she was Crying begging me not to go, but I have children who are about to resume school so I left. She died this year's April. I keeps wishing I could turn back the hand of time, so I won't leave, I will just bring my children to stay with her cause her health improved when I was with her. I still can't get over it..

look at the billions of dollars we spent importing refined petroleum last year 🙆

When the Dangote and PH refinery start working, it will really relieve pressure on the naira.

I really pray the refinery will work

Prayer warrior. Vote for bad leaders and pray next. Prayer can not make that refinery work. Na only government can make it work. But the oil importers won't let it work.
