Litolysis: If you have been admitted, it is student visa. I believe your application at the embassy is for a student visa too, right? 2 Likes |

deeodaniels:The balance of the account buffer or insurance would be refunded to you after your bank in Nigeria deducts their charges for forex transfer so you can just calculate only the actual bank charges. Also, Fintiba has a one-off set-up fee of 89€. X-Patrio is obviously the cheapest. Summary of charges: Deutsches bank: 150€ Fintiba: 147.8€ X-Patrio: 109€ 1 Like 1 Share |

I like how Metabolite01 thinks I'm a guy. Hehe! I digress...I once wanted to purchase an item online and was chatting with the Oga, he kept responding with 'Sir' and acting swiftly. He later had to call me on phone. I felt afterwards like he naw started doing somehow. Bet why? Anyways, I'm on my bed, sleep is catching me ![]() |

empressonassis: PhD. But if you want to get a scratch card, go ahead. Let it not be me that would discourage you. I find it strange though that waec results from 4-5 years ago can still be checked using scratch card. People that have done this, please enlighten me. 1 Like |

oladejitaiwo: No it is not. What is the poster going for? At least I know my colleague and I didn't use it and he is in Deutschland already and I am joining him soon 1 Like |

facelessBeing: You didn't read my post well. I said 'with no zeal for studies'. At least, if you want to pretend, do it well and prepare for your interview well. I know someone who tried that (not saying the embassy knew he had a German girlfriend obviously) but he couldn't convince the embassy that he needed a student visa. I like the part where you said 'if everything being equal from the applicant's part' and I already stated that unforseen circumstances (from the alien's office and the embassy) could contribute to the delay. 1 Like |

Neyoalao: I totally agree with you. Scholarships are of course genuine cases and due to unforseen circumstances some visas could be delayed. Imagine someone planning to 'reunite' with his German girlfriend (not wife o) pretending to go through student visa, with no zeal for studies at least. It may take some time to investigate but eventually the embassy will see through him. All I'm saying is, apart from your reasons above, if you give the embassy reasons to have to probe further, they would and that takes time. 2 Likes |

ibnkokumo: It is even possible to get it in 5 working days. Someone has testified before. My observation, if you are very straight forward with the Germans, they would be very straight forward with you. Prepare well, be clear, have all your documents and the road ahead of you will be without bumps. The reason why some applications take so long is when you give them reasons to question your integrity and if you are actually going for what you claim to be going for. 5 Likes |

Please I need advice. I had my interview with my old passport. I've been asked to bring insurance along with my passport. I know I can collect the visa on a new passport but the challenge is with the insurance. I contacted an insurance company just to find out the requirements. My passport is being renewed so I told them I'd rather wait to get my new passport but was assured that they could work with the old, that the requirement for passport was just a formality so I could send them a copy of my old one which I still had. I assumed that the details of my old passport would not be on the insurance but I was wrong because I got it today and everything is there. This means I would be submitting my new passport (with old one attached and obviously now invalid) with insurance carrying old passport's number and expiry date to the embassy. I'm skeptical about this. Would this be a problem since my visa would obviously be on the new passport with new number? Shouldn't the details on the insurance tally with the new passport instead? Experts in the house, please help! |

It is 75 euros. The embassy changes the naira equivalent everyday according to the market. Don't bother calculating with your own exchange rate. A friend paid 23k when he went, by the time I went few days later, it was 29k. I guess it wasn't a lucky day for me. Just take enough cash. |

dailydolar: Please do you need to submit any document during the interview in place of a blocking confirmation or you just go with your incomplete documents like that? I am yet to fund my blocked account and my interview comes up soon. Thanks |

Hi Acunon, I need to buy an unrelated product and I'm hoping you could link me up with honest people like you in Alaba intl market. I took the pains to read many reviews on this thread and I'm convinced. Please I would appreciate it if you can link me up with your honest 'brothers' that sell laptops. I have never bought anything from Alaba before so I don't know anyone. Thanks and God bless! |

Dey usually pass thru agbara estate so jus tel d driver u want to stop at d junction to nestle (d road is jus opposite d agbara estate residential area), jus walk down to nestle. If u wanna get to agbara bus-stop, u'd take a bike frm der to d factory. Hope dat helps |
