Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Can You Answer These Tricky Job Interview Questions From Apple Inc? by adaorap(f): 6:47pm On Apr 14, 2021
Psoul:
I saw this Interview Questions on Glassdoor and I just felt it might be very useful to some of us given that most companies especially in Nigeria like copying these big tech guys. We all know that Apple is one of the biggest Tech companies in the World and to get a job there wouldn’t be so easy.

Glassdoor decided to make this easy by providing some questions Apple Inc uses to select their employees – I would be revealing 3 questions here that I feel are more brain tasking and require more brain knowledge. Is your brain equipped to answer these Apple’s Job Interview Questions? If Yes? Let’s do this smiley

1. How many children are born every day?

2. If you have 2 eggs, and you want to figure out what’s the highest floor from which you can drop the egg without breaking it, how would you do it? What’s the optimal solution?

3.You have 100 coins laying flat on a table, each with a head side and a tail side. 10 of them are heads up, 90 are tails up. You can’t feel, see or in any other way find out which side is up. Split the coins into two piles such that there are the same number of heads in each pile.”

4. There are three boxes, one contains only apples, one contains only oranges, and one contains both apples and oranges. The boxes have been incorrectly labeled such that no label identifies the actual contents of the box it labels. Opening just one box, and without looking in the box, you take out one piece of fruit. By looking at the fruit, how can you immediately label all of the boxes correctly?

So who can answer any?

1) roughly estimation of one child for every seconds
2)the floor which the egg is constant
3)split and label afterwards. Coins which can't be differentiated through feel, sight, are headless and tailless
4)first is to carry each box, move and shake them without opening. The box with apples will have a regular movement which I will set aside. The one with only orange will have a regular movement which I will set aside. The one with both apples and oranges will have irregular movements which I will set aside and label immediately. Then I will open any of the two remaining boxes, bring out one content and label appropriately based on the content then the remaining box is surely opposite of the second label. Thank you.

Do you live in Nigeria?

How were you able to avoid rice, beans etc.
?

It does not matter where you live, just avoid them. There is rice everywhere, also beans. In fact it's so hard to follow strict dieting outside the shores of Nigeria. Reason is that oyibo get lots of tempting, yummy foods at a very cheap price but most of those yummy foods are not healthy foods. Not easy to choose vegetables over burgers and tasty cakes. Not easy to follow the same routine, but you have to keep going knowing fully well that the gain is far better than the pain.
UDO!!!(Peace).

I was like you until I started watching what I eat.
I dont drink milk and milk anymore.
I avoid eating rice, beans, Irish potatoes, groundnut, cashew nuts, and many more.
I only focus on eating
Vegetable yes vegetables.
Let me list all that I eat everyday...
1)Salad(lettuce, avocado, spinach, little carrot, green bellpepper, mushroom(optional), chicken, bacon, virgin olive oil. Just put the ones you can and leave the rest.
2) pumpkin (anyu igbo language) virgin olive oil.

Send me message if you need some clarifications or questions to ask.

3) ogbono soup with broccoli swallow. Use any soup of your choice but not Egusi

I eat two oranges with the fiber for the whole day. Dont take it too much.
Drink enough water
I snack little on coconuts, almonds, cucumber.

4) top everything with 30mins exercise. Dancing or skipping.
Lucky you if you read this. Make sure you stretch your neck always.

worriedhusband:
Dear Nairalanders,

My heart is very heavy as I write this. I'm a member of this forum but I purposely created this username for this issue as I want to remain anonymous. Im not the type that discuss my problems in the public but what is happening is beyond me and I need your help.

My wife and I got married May 2012 and I was the happiest man on earth on that day. Many prayers were offered concerning our fruitfulness and not in our slightest imagination did we think that we will have problem with having children. As God will have it my wife missed her period the following month and did pregnancy test to confirm and it was positive. Our joy knew no bound. I immediately gave her “holiday” from any form of domestic activities. She immediately registered for ante-natal. She has been attending the ante-natal for about 8 weeks when the doctor decided it was time to do the ultrasound. The ultrasound was done and it was discovered that the fetus was measuring a lesser length than it should measure, 5 weeks or thereabout. Also the heart beat was not seen. The doctor said the pregnancy was not viable.

It was a very sad day for both of us but I managed to console her, we even went to another hospital to confirm but the same result was given. She later went to the hospital for evacuation of the pregnancy.

To cut the story short, we have had four other pregnancies that the fetus did not develop. The fetus will always develop to maximum of 7 weeks and stop developing. She has taken Progesterone injection so many times without any significant result. I’ve researched a little bit and the result I found was recurrent miscarriage. This has been a great concern for us and I'm always afraid whenever wifey is pregnant that the same thing will happen (what should be a thing of joy for us has now become a nightmare).

The pain she goes through at each evacuation is something that brings tears to my eyes and I sometimes wish she is not even pregnant so we will not go through the same cycle.

My fellow Nairalanders, please help us out, any medical advice or other things we can do to overcome this challenge will be appreciated. Please if you have gone through this before or have any information that can help kindly offer it, don’t just read and go on. We belief in our God and we focus on Him as the doer of all things but we need medical or any other advice (nothing fetish) that can help.

We live in the Southwest (Not Lagos).

My wife is now 30 while i'm 34 Years old.

while drs are doing their best to help you. You have to figure out ways to help yourself too. The journey is not an easy one. It can be frustrating and very hard on your woman. I believe you are a caring husband but you still need to do more to fight her fears and to have a stress free life. I know you love her but the love should surpass romeo and Juliet. rolling my eyes now. buy her gifts continue buying her gifts. it shouldn't be seasonal. aways help her in home chores expecially the kitchen work, do it together with her and end it with a passionate kiss. While the going seems tough never forget to tell her how much you love her. women are moved with what they hear. cuddle her and always play with her hair and massage her face. take her out, continue to take her out. Always have a romantic bathwater with her. While doing all these things abstain from sex to give her body time to recover and for you to also have quality sperm that can break an egg and give you identical twins. for that period fill your home with worship songs.

cheers

sunday478: No. You can't use a phone, yoy can use phone to write the codes, but the phone can not interprete the codes, so my advice is that u get an affordable PC and start with it for now.

you can use your phone, both writing and interpretation. Just download html writer and html reader
