Hello nairalanders, I am a recent graduate that just concluded the NYSC scheme. With the little money I saved from my stipends I decide to venture into a business. I have two businesses in mind; food stuff (rice, beans, garri, etc.) retail biz and opening a barbing saloon ( which I have skill on ). I am teaching in a private school at the moment, but like Oliver twist, I want more. I don't want to continue the job next year because of how some of these private school behave. My questions are; which one of them can I safely start with 100k? is food stuff biz adviceable to venture into?, considering ban on rice. what is the cost of starting each of the two? |

Am facing same situation as you are. All i know is that you communicate with the people through the community leader. If they give you an approval then you notify your state cordinator about your proposal through your LI, zonal coord. You have to present a good proposal, even the so called network providers are aware that there aint no network in some places same for power holders. |

When you get to your orientation your call up letter will be requested at the point of registration. After submitting necessary documents, The official will refer you to another official to collect a smaller call up letter to authenticate the one you collected in your institution. After registration, your confirmation slip and Your green card will be printed for you. |

olapluto:like football basketball is not mathematics. Any team in the knock-out stage is capable of creating an upset. The Angolans were beaten in the group stage by Egypt if am not mistaken, and we beat every other team black and blue except SEN. Most teams would never want to be beaten twice, we beat Angola in the semis in AAG and they took their pound of flesh in the group stage of this championship we beat Mali in the prelim of same AAG but we eventually lost in the finals. My only advice for the ladies is that they should avoid being complacent with Egypt and be careful with cameroon (virtue of being the host). |

I beleive these ladies can go all the way to the finals, to winning the championship. It would be energy sapping for Mali and Angola in the semis. The ladies seem to get better with each game 1 Like |
Sports / All African Games Poor Medals Update by adbaba(m): 8:42pm On Sep 17, 2015 |
I've tried google updates on the AAG, all i get is medals update of 3-5 days ago, which is not suppose to be so. I checked the games major site for latest updates, the result i got was just schedule. NO MAJOR MEDALS UPDATE AT ALL unlike the olympic games. Isn't high time we (Africa) went past this stage of organizing. 1 Like |
NYSC / Re: Opinion:'freedom To Choose State Of Deployment' Initiative Is Dead On Arrival by adbaba(m): 8:09pm On Sep 14, 2015 |
NYSC IS IN A STATE OF CONFUSION since 1973. I didn't have any option than to choose sokoto and taraba. Am not really angry for choosing those states, afterall na human being like me dey live there. The issue here is Nysc inability to get their arts right with communication. This similar case occur during the last fatal immigration exams, we all know how it was swept under the ground. Jamb tried similar case, we all know what the outcome was. It's hign time these govt goons start taking young lives serious and not subjecting us to TRIAL & ERROR kind of joke. Folding my hands and watching in 3D what become the end of 'THE TALE OF TWO CITIES'. 2 Likes |
