Dshocker: There's no peace loving human being that likes it. You don't have to be a Muslim to dislike it, how much more an adherent one. If you know your action or inaction is provocative to another person and you gain delight in carrying out such action, then I don't know what you expect from a sane minded person order than dislike for (you and) your action. |

lhurd: That was the perception until wambugu apple came into the picture. Research about wambugu apples. That variety grows anywhere in Nigeria. I know of someone that's currently growing it in Zaria, and am sure you know Zaria is far from Jos. Africans are advancing with research on certain plants that ordinarily don't do well in our clim before. 2 Likes 1 Share |

pharoahs: What's true in agreeing with what Bill Gate said? Even Gate deep down knows he doesn't mean well for Africa with those words. Question is how many American experts left their country to develop other places? How in the world would you leave your father's land and say it's a good thing to leave it dead and dry while you go make other people's land green and lush. Well, I'm not surprised sha. Peter Obi himself had to japa from his state to other places to make it in life so he won't see anything bad in it. 4 Likes |

Ofunaofu: You mean Emefiele got approval from Buhari to change or alter a material fact in a bill he signed which is different from the one passed by the national assembly? You don't have to include the past president in everything you say to show your support for your Emefiele. You make it sound like everything he does, he gets order from the president to do it. More like an errand boy. You must have thought that Buhari is a micro-manager but he isn't. 2 Likes |

I don't know if you know that their background check is as important as their competences, and no good leader will hasten those kinda decisions. I think I've seen enough from BAT to the point that I just want to believe that he strikes me as someone who knows what he's doing. IamAsiri: How do you mean "affect"? Like I said earlier, it's a law that's targeted at the interest of their natives. It's not a "we vs them" thing. Unless you want to make it become that of course. I really don't know why you guys are furious or rather, curious over their affairs. They're not making laws for kogi state people that lives in Lagos state. They said it's a law to protect the interest of the natives. If there's something else I'm missing out, pls be kind to point it out. Abi why una dey fear? You don't want them to protect their locals? |
Politics / Re: No Man’s Land: Rhodes-vivour Condemns Proposed Law To Protect Lagos Indigenes by Ade3131: 2:48am On Jun 09, 2023 |
IamAsiri: Lemme begin by telling you that as it stands today, Abuja is a federal capital territory of Nigeria, and it remains the only state that does not vote in a governor. By contrast, Lagos state vote in its governors, and what that means is that while Abuja might have it's own indigenous people, the state is the only territory in Nigeria that can be called a no-man's-land (for Nigerians), but there's a boundary to that too bcuz the law recognizes that they're natives whose ancestral land is Abuja. The natives of Abuja cannot come to Lagos and say it's a no-man's-land bcuz by law, it belongs to some people and they vote in their governor here. Anyway you look at it, just tell yourself that it is Lagos that is making law to protect their natives. I'm not a Lagosian although I live there. Their laws, their problem. If any non-Lagosian have an issue with how they decide their thing here, they're 35 other states in Nigeria. The law is not targeting anybody order than their indigenous people, so I don't know what the fuss is all about. They are not making laws for another state. They're making laws for their state. Whoever have a problem with that might need to explain himself in the court of law. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

jullary: Which mumu market are you competing with? Dangote refinery will be the only refinery we have for some time until the other government refineries are fixed imported fuel will cost as much as the price of dollar per liter. Zionmdde: Sorry to disappoint you, Dangote refinery will sell at international market price despite sourcing for raw materials here and producing locally. He's going to enjoy his monopoly to the fullest. And just to add, prepare for MTN kind of monopoly when GSM first came to Nigeria. His business model isn't built on patriotism. Check how much he sells cement and flour locally and compare to how much he sells in other African countries. The only way subsidy removal wouldn't have affected Nigerians negatively is if the removal was done after all 4 government refineries are working in full capacity alongside the Dangote refinery to drive competition. Let's see how things pan out sha. 1 Like |
Family / Re: Is It Ok For A Guy To Be Living With His Parents At Age 32-39 ? by Ade3131: 9:38pm On May 27, 2023 |
zed7: Your submissions above says a lot about how much you've experienced in life than it says of the 30+ guy living with his parents. Lemme ask you why you think everyone above 30 that still lives with their parents can't really afford to rent his own place? And who told you that most of them don't have a job? Ifeel your perspective on life in this regard is so narrow and bereave of wisdom. They're people that decide to stay with their parents due to their parents' health condition. I guess you didn't factor that into your submission. They're also guys like Seyi Tinubu who's born into wealth. His parents live in mansion and they have a lot of them littered around the world. Whichever one he chooses to stay, it still won't change the fact that he lives with his parents. Then lemme also ask you what economic or logical gain is there in renting your own house (even when you can afford it) and your dad owns an estate and they'll only sleep in one or two rooms while they're lots of vacant rooms available? Or you just want to go out for the society to see that you're truly a man? And if we're being realistic, the realities of the present day Nigeria is not in synch with whatever fantasy any of us have had growing up. Renting a room and parlor at Orile, in Lagos state now goes for as much as half a million for a year and landlords are demanding 2 year rent upfront in addition to agent and commission fee. Total package is 1.3m. That's a room and parlor. Tell me how your 20k of 2 jobs can afford that. Let's not pressurize the less-privy men among us. Yes, it is expected that at certain age you should be financially stable enough to stand on your own, but if you're reading this and you're above 30 and still stays with your parents, and your reality says otherwise to the expected norm, pls don't go into crime bcuz you want to size up with your mates. Life na turn by turn. You might be a late bloomer, and there's nothing bad about it. What's bad is knowing that you're down and still be digging. If you're down don't dig. Instead, stand up. 15 Likes 6 Shares |

Evilspirit666: Maybe you're right but you're quick to forget that the tribe in question is black. Mind you, what I wrote up there is the true state of Africans as a whole. Go back to your tribe and look closely, and be true to yourself in your analysis. You'd realize that Africans share something else in common aside from our skin colour. How's governance like in the region you came from? Despite your own tribe not being known to backstab, how well have your people faired in matter of national interest? Why do you think your region is sidelined in infrastructural development if it's not a sabotage from one of your own? Don't let us get into the specifics. You and I know what am talking about and you know it too well too. Every states in the federation gets allocation from the federal government but how has these funds been spent by successive governors in your region? That, my friend is what I'm referring to when I say African are good at selling their own out. You'd rather fix your family up than be of service to the community you hale from. That's our history. And that's what has kept us where we find ourselves in international politics. 1 Like |

Blacks have a history of selling their own... It's in our DNA as a people. Our forefathers sold out their weak friends and children as slaves. The strong captured and sold out their weaklings as slaves. Today, those in power/government collect loans from foreign bodies and mortgage their generations unborn to proxy-slavery. Tiamiyu is just an offshoot of that bloodline. I'm not surprised one bit! 36 Likes 9 Shares |

It'll be painful to the goat but it'll get better and both sides will even up in no time. Mind you, it must be adin dudu ooo.... Not just the regular palm canel oil that looks like groundnut oil ooo. There's a difference between them. Don't mix it up. Massage it for her like morning and night. 1 Like |

Family / Re: Have You Written Your Will..? by Ade3131: 4:09pm On May 12, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: You're right to some extent but you got it wrong at some point ☝️ I highlighted above. While it is true that his will to have his property shared according to Islamic teachings might have been written down as a will in itself, you'd agree with me that those children that did not honor God's words in the Quran would not honor the will or rather spend their last cash dragging cases in court amongst themselves. The shortfall for me is still the man (Abiola) himself. He obviously didn't raise his children to love each other and appreciate a shared family value of love and oneness. And ultimately, to appreciate and respect God's words (the Quran) as the final rulings on their affairs. He is not the first wealthy Muslim to have died trusting his family to use the Islamic way of sharing properties upon his demise. Have you asked yourself why siblings will turn against each other just because they want the lion share of their late dad's property? In such a family, love never existed. They're all waiting for the man with the moneybag 💰 to die so they could share the spoils. And that's where I feel the fault lies. 3 Likes |

RuMiRgO1stSon: Where are you based? Some of us are willing to farm but we're not geographically privy as most of you guys up north. There's capital to invest, land might not really be an issue but where to find cheap and honest labourer is one of the many issues we face down south. Everybody will try to rip you off here. And it's more expensive making a land ready for farming here. 7 Likes |
