Hello my fellow Nairalanders,
I am 2016/17 jamb aspirants,which i wrote my jamb exam 1st of April,2016. My aggregate scored was 213. which i applied for petroleum engineering in ATBU Bauchi state. i am from Lagos state. Any time i check my status on JAMB website,its always responding to me ''sorry,no admission given yet'',Although, my school has released her first batch admission list,which my name was not there.

now,my QUESTION IS WHY IS JAMB STILL TELLING ME NO ADMISSION GIVEN YET?
Pls,what are the cause from my admission?
Is it that i am not qualified school?
Is it that i am not qualified for the course?
Is the fault from the school i choose or jamb?
should i forget about this year admission?
Should i register for another JAMB OR apply for IJMB?
and does my state matter while given admission to federal universities?

Pls, what is your say about my admission, I have been worried.
those who have similar issue should come in and contribute.....
those who have experienced it should come in for way out....
those who knows way out should come in......

he need HELP concerning his Admission

Well bro ur score is not too bad, but considering the present academic level in this country one needs to get a very high mark in jamb in order to gain admission in most of this federal schools and secondly ur o level result matters a lot due to the new method schools are using to calculate their cut off mark. I have a fried who scored 243 in jamb and applied for OAU and still yet no given admission bcoz he didn't still meet up with their cut off mark. And also the case of a girl who had 320 and still not given admission. U might not meet up with their cut off mark when ur olevel was added to ur score in jamb.
I will advice u go for another jamb bro

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) yesterday disclosed that it has agreed on a harmonised time-table with other examination bodies (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) ahead of 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to ensure a hitch free examination.

According to the JAMB’s Spokesman, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in a statement in Abuja, the harmonised examination timetable had put to rest problems arising from overlapping of examination dates which would have disqualified a goof number of candidates from participating in the examination.

It was resolved at the meeting that WAEC from 2018, between March and April, will create a window of two weeks where all other examinations that have nothing to do with Nigeria will be held so as to allow a window for JAMB to conduct its examination.

The statement also revealed that the examination bodies agreed that for the purpose of the 2017 UTME, JAMB would shift its examinations to allow students face WAEC, NECO and NABTEB.

“However, a 10-day window for JAMB’S UTME has been created by all examination bodies for JAMB to conduct its examination.

In view of this, JAMB will soon announce the commencement of sale of the 2017/2018 admission forms for UTME and Direct Entry (DE).” the statement added.

I don't think schools still write any form of exams, what is actually needed is your o'level result in the five relevant subject and your grade in ND

Good afternoon everyone here, please can anyone here tell me more about Uniben DE I'm an ND holder and graduated with distinction in Accounting and still want to apply for the same course. Firstly, I want to know how the DE exam looks like cos I heard it the same exam written by post ume students also DE students write now that post ume has been scrapped out what those the exam looks like n what are the necessary material to purchase to prepare for the exam? Secondly, want to know about dz jamb regularization stuff.
Thirdly, is it possible to apply for JAMB and DE the same YEAR (I mean is it allowed}
