Hello Adedayolola. I am glad you find our contributions useful. I’m also glad you are taking steps to a better passport.

Do you stand a chance? Yes. You can secure a visa without previous experience but in the case of Brazil you will have a lot of convincing and home work to do. I will however not be able to tell you your chances of success or failure because every visa application is different and unique.

To improve your chances, I will kindly request that you start by reading the visa requirements on the official Brazilian embassy in your current country of residence. You should analyze the information provided there very carefully and work towards it. Information is power.

Make sure you have a good tie to your country especially that you don’t have a travel history. I may be more useful for information on procedures in Brazil after you have been granted the visa.

I wish you all the best.

Hello @Adjo10,
Do not mean to bother you but I would appreciate if u can guide me aright, lemme also benefit from u like others ve testified. Am in my early stage of pregnancy and wish to apply for brazil by Visa but with no travel experience. Do I stand a chances at all? How do I go about it? Would appreciate an adequate guidance on this

I add an official website so we are all clear. And i quote:

“tourist visa holder apply for a work visa without leaving the country?

No. An individual who enters Brazil as a tourist must exit the country with the same status. This means that tourists are not permitted to change a visa from one type to another during his/her stay in the country. A possible employer must initiate the application of a work permit in behalf of the applicant. Once approved, the applicant must leave Brazil and go back to his country of origin, where he/she can claim his/her work visa through the Brazilian Consulate.”

May I know the steps in applying for the private healthcare?
justwise:

Pay for private health care and apply for medical visa. Basically be honest with the situation and if you are refused visa then work on the reason(s) for the refusal

can u help with NPC cert?
Assist with your mail pls
Foxie:
Okay. The procedure is a long one, that's if you're willing to go through the stress. If it's SSCE (that is you wrote in a school) you'll go through your school. Go to the school to obtain a letter from them for the change of DOB and take it to WAEC office in that state. Along with that letter, you'll submit your baptismal certificate, birth certificate carrying the age you want it changed to(not affidavit), passport photograph, the original WAEC certificate and 10k. Buh if it's GCE, it's same process but you'll go directly instead of going through your school.
I can help you get the NPC Birth Certificate.

NOTE: Be ready to wait for one year, depending on how convinced WAEC is.

Can i get the contaCT PLS
McCoy662:
Hello peeps, well, the issue of how to correct date of birth on WAEC certificate is one almost everybody have at least heard of. I once had the same issue and the worst was that, I needed a few weeks to correct it or lose my admission after paying 50k acceptance fee. it wasn't easy though, but I was connected to someone that connected me to the right source.

The date of birth issue or name is not usually easy to correct. You may be asked to go back to your school where you obtain the certificate from, that may cost you less but you may have to wait for eternity before getting it corrected. And most times, someone that is having the issue, may be given just a limited time quantum or lose something big.

I would advice that if you really have any issue with your DOB on your WAEC certificate, better stand up now and get it corrected. don't wait until when you are given admission or when you needs it urgently. I was banking on the words of a senior colleague who told me that I could get an affidavit of age declaration from the court for my clearance. But when I got to UNIBEN, they told me there's just one way out. get it corrected!! Although some schools still accept affidavit, maybe in the future, they may chose the only "get it corrected way".

The good news is that, from my experience, I have got this solution to share. If you have a DOB issue, just take the certificate to WAEC office in Lagos. Get in there and request for the correction. Normally they may ask you few questions why you want to change the dob but they will get it done for you in a day or two. though you will have to pay higher than what you would pay when going through the school you obtained it from. it's just a time cost trade-off.

if you need more info, you can inbox me.
