Education / Re: Do You Still Remember Your School Anthem? by adefranca(f): 10:56pm On Jun 09, 2009
@ sunbat, was dat really your anthem?
Here goes mine- Mayflower School, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State.
Knowledge is Light,
And so the sages say,
Forever it will be the Light to guide Humanity
Knowledge is Light
As ignorance is darkness
And therefore,
Mayflower, equip yourself with the armour of light
For our mission to the world
Is to bear the touch aloft
And cry with all our might
That Knowledge is Light, 3ce
Just as Ignorance is darkness
That Knowledge is Light.

I love this, it brings back long memories.
Health / Re: Free Consultation On Your Dental Problems by adefranca(f): 3:59am On Nov 10, 2008
hello doc, some months back, I went to my dentist and complained about a hole in my tooth. The hole has been there for over two years but I guess since I only had to stop using it to stop the pain I didn't bother about doing anything about it, as I was only using one side to eat. The dentist filled it for me and I though it was ok, only for me to use it and the pain became unbearable for days. I went back to see the dentist and was given Flagyll and antibiotics. When the pain refused to go, I went back again, that was when I had an X-ray done. The dentist told me that the gum was slightly infected and told me to finish my drugs. Sadly, the pain comes back anytime I use the affected side. For now I have stopped using that side to eat.
My problem now is that the affected gum started swelling like three weeks back, and I don't know what to do about it. I got Colgate Total Protection toothpaste and started brushing my teeth at least thrice daily, though its has helped in reducing the swelling, I still have the pain once in a while, Pls what can I do about it?

Literature / Re: John Grisham Or Sydney Sheldon by adefranca(f): 6:05pm On Oct 22, 2008
Its really hard to compare the two since those two are some of my best authors. John Grisham made me fall in love with Law and Sidney Sheldon is simply out of this world. So for me, I'll say they are both great authors. smiley
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Bank Interview: Is Suit A Must? by adefranca(f): 12:39pm On Aug 14, 2008
well, when I wrote Zenith bank's test, we were expressely told that if we were successfully, we'ld be called upon and when coming we were to be dressed in suit. Infact on the interview day, everybody was dressed in suit. So atleast for Zenith bank, suit is a must.

Pls house, amongst those that wrote the bank phb test on the 26th of July, has anyone heard from them? I'm beginning to think that maybe they cancelled the test held on that day, or if otherwise, that is, if anyone has been called for interview pls let us know so that we can take our minds off it.
