Got Fall admission and graduate assistantship, with a full tuition waiver, living expenses, housing and flight.
My Nigerian Uni seems to be delaying the sending of my transcript to the US, and of course without it, they will not release the I-20. US school intends to email the I-20 so I'm sure to get it with 48 hours of transcript getting there. I need that I-20 like yesterday...
I can already see interview dates in Lagos showing January 2022 (too late), and Abuja showing July, still too late. I don't want emergency.
Please anyone with useful info here should help a brother- connect, advice, etc. Still pressing exams and records to do the needful though. I feel like I should travel down there and gatecrash them till they send it. I want it to leave this week.

Coming to Canada

If you're considering Canada for your graduate studies, you should be strategic in how you email Professors. Another potential reason you don't get a response is because you're emailing Professors in High-paying tuition schools (e.g- UofT, McGill & UBC). Except they have grants to support you, incl. tuition (or you have a scholarship), they're limited in the number of International Students to accept

In this thread, I listed about 10 schools that pay the same tuition fees as locals. Please prioritize emailing Professors there.

I MET ANOTHER THAT SAID 150K FOR MEMORIAL ADMISSION AND I EVEN WANTED TO SEND 70K AND PAY REST LATER, HE SAID NO AND I FELT GOD WAS TALKING TO ME TO DO IT ON MY OWN AND I WENT HOME AND APPLIED AND PAID AND IN 3 WEEKS MSC ADMISSION CAME. I THANK GOD. AND BY THEN I HAD NO SPONSOR, MY MOM SAID SHE WON'T PAY AND I HAVEN'T TOLD MY DAD CAUSE HE DOESN'T LIKE THE ABROAD TALK AND I PRAYED AND TOLD GOD MY PROBLEMS AND I TOLD MY FATHER ABOUT IT AND HE ACCEPTED.
