The most frustrating part is the fact that they are not reachable. They don't pick calls on their official contact phone number, the chat platform isn't available and they don't respond to mails. I sent a mail requesting for the procedure to send passports to them since December 30th, they are yet to respond till date. I eventually got all the info on Nairaland. Except for the personal phone numbers that people are giving out here now, it's just almost impossible to reach them if you have any issues and that's just very unfair. Why should everything be so difficult with the Nigerian system?

I will advise you get the UPS tracking number from VFS so that you will know the true state of your parcel. Mine was showing PACKAGE ABANDONED and further inquiry revealed that VFS gave them a wrong address.

This is my biggest concern about this whole courier thing with VFS -The very possibility that packages can get lost in transit.

Thanks for your Swift response. I have emailed IRCC also sent a web form, hopefully this week I will get my passport back.

I don't really have a grasp of how the passport return works for paper applications. Have you received the Counterfoil, and Letter of introduction in your GC account? If No, you may want to raise a couple of webforms and mails to the office that sent you BVL about the delay.
