Payment not working? happened to my friend last week. Try using internet explorer as the browser to pay. if it doesn't work, try paying at the submission centre. Though you still ave to use their own computer there. sleyflash: |

Got my visa today. Timeline: Submission & interview 18th of August. - Paid Priority at Ikeja Sheffield ECO email on Monday the 21st. Didn't hear anything till I called UKVI on the 5th of September, they told me a decision had been made. Got TLS Decision mail yesterday, Monday the 12th of Sept. Got collection email yesterday at about 4pm. Picked up at 11am today. When I held the DHL package, I felt a folded letter inside and assumed the worst; turned out to be a letter confirming BRP collection. Good luck to everyone still expecting theirs. 2 Likes |

I wonder why mine isn't out too. Called UKVI last week Tuesday and they told me a decision had been made since the week before. Submitted 18th of Sept; paid for priority. 18 working days now. I guess its TLS that's wasting time. Hoping for today or tomorrow; its been too long. |

Hi, Congrats. was it a UK or Nigerian Number that was used to ring you? Missed a call this morning and I'm wondering who it might have been. Its a Nigerian landline number starting with 236. Tried to ring them back but it never went through. 912: 1 Like |

LaaJiblik: Calm down bro, there's nothing for him/her to gain from misleading people. They are talking from their own personal experience which I think is valid. There are always different perspectives to things. |

Susom: NOT good. I guess I'd be saving my money in that case. I dunno why these visa submission centre guys can't just request for more hands on deck from the ECO during peak periods such as this. After charging so much for the visa as well. smh. I hope your visa comes out real soon! |

Question1: You need to factor in the Immigration Health Surcharge. It's £150 a year (but cos you have an extra 4 months at the end of your visa, they add an extra £75) So for everything, it's £225 + £330 + (£184 if you wanna do priority) Comes to £739 I believe. |

Asked this before but just asking again before I take the plunge. Has anyone used priority service recently? If you have, please, how many days did yours take to get a decision? I am submitting next week and I really want to know if they will comply with the 3-5 working days as stated or if it will take the normal time. I don't want to waste my £190 if it will take the normal processing time. Finally, can you pay for priority at the submission centre? If I can, that would be brilliant cos I can ask them how long it takes these days before making payment right there. Swift replies appreciated. |

christisam: I have applied 2 times in the past for tier 4 student visa with the money out of my account after the 28th day and It has been successful on both attempts. The statement is valid for use for a month from the date of printing. In my opinion and that of many others, the ECO just want to know you can keep such an amount for 28 days consecutively (which is actually difficult to do). If you have a statement to prove this then you're fine. I am speaking from personal experience; other people might know better. 1 Like |

mimilyrics: Amazing, thanks. What was the processing time of your application? I hope to do the priority service but I don't trust the 3-5 day turnaround time quoted on their website. What are your thoughts? |

Has anyone submitted recently? What was the appointment availability generally like? For example how many days from the day of online submission will an appointment date be available? Swift reply appreciated, thanks. |

Hi guys, Quick question. I'm applying with my family for a visitor visa to Canada, and there's just one of the forms I don't really understand. It's the "Statutory Declaration of common law union". Is this a required document? Do I just fill it in and get it notarised?, or submit my certificate of marriage? I plan to submit on Tuesday so a quick response will be highly appreciated. |

Hey Guys, I'm trying to fill the online NYSC form but Lagos is not among the list of states I am able to choose. is there any reason for this? or is there anything I can do to make the option of Lagos appear? A swift response would be appreciated. |

adunni: Yes, you can by all means take out of the money you have deposited in your account after you have submitted. I transferred back the money I used for my 28 days count back to my dad immediately I submitted. All the UKVI wants to know is if you can keep such amount untouched for 28 days, after that, whatever you do with the money isn't their business. It's not stated anywhere in the guide that you shouldn't touch the money after submitting. The only disadvantage of doing that is, if you are refused for any other reason, you will have to start counting from the start again since you tampered with the amount. The only thing you shouldn't do wrong is submit a false bank statement. No bank is under an obligation to divulge your account balance to an embassy. The statement is proof enough. 3 Likes |

Iyomizi: There's no actual email address, you can drop them a message at https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk They usually reply within 24 hours, sometimes faster. 18th is just 5 working days ago, there's no need to have mental stress regarding this. Give them time. Lol 1 Like |

manova: For banks such as Standard chartered and First bank, (and I think GTB) the limit on online transactions is 1 million naira plus. Try paying with another card. It's only overseas ATM withdrawals that have the $300 limit. 1 Like 1 Share |

Mubarak39: Your best option would be to pay the balance of your school fees to your school as soon as you can, so they can reflect in your CAS that you owe £0 in tuition fees. That would leave the N2.5M in your account sufficient for your application. If you put in an extra 1.5m into your Nigerian bank account to boost the amount, you would have to start counting the 28 days from the start again, and wouldn't make your school start date of the 21st. 1 Like 1 Share |

Abeg, there's no point going to the collection centre if you haven't got the email inviting you to come collect. I was at the V.I collection centre today, sat in a long queue and then queued again upstairs. I had gotten the decision email since Saturday (but not the collection one). The guy at the counter simply tracked my application and said "it's not ready". That was all. If I had got the email, I could have at least argued that I was told to come, but I just wasted my time going there today. I guess I was just really curious to know the outcome because time is very vital in situations like these. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Kabosky1956: I also got my decision made email on Saturday morning (which is a weird day). I'm also deliberating whether to go check tomorrow or just wait till Tuesday. V.I is my collection centre. |

Miele: Nope, it's not a problem. I booked a virgin atlantic flight online last year, missed out my middle name but everything was fine. Your first and last name would suffice. I'm not entirely sure about other airlines, though. |
