Business / How To Earn 500,000 Every 6months For 15years In Greenhouse Investment by ADESOLA96(m): 2:53pm On Oct 04, 2019
Imagine owning a Greenhouse with 15 years lifespan?

With just 1,300,000 Naira only!

And earning 500,000 Naira every 6 months?

You will have earned 15 Million Naira in 15 years.

This is the beauty of merging the profitability of agriculture and the beauty of real estate.

FARMKONNECT a registered Agribusiness in Nigeria is currently engaged in the setup of vegetable farms using greenhouse technology. The project is planned to produce leafy and fruit vegetables with output in excess of 130,000 metric tons of vegetables per annum.

The project will facilitate the production of various fruit and leafy vegetables for the local markets. The first phase of the project includes the use of low-tech greenhouses for the production of fruit vegetables, such as tomatoes, habanero, bell peppers and so on.

The project follows the concept of our Agricultural Real Estate in which a cluster of farming facilities is setup for the sole purpose of production and sales of vegetables.

In this cluster, individuals can own as many greenhouses as they can afford by paying a onetime purchase fee. The beauty of the project is that the owners of the greenhouse do not need to be on farm, the facilities will be completely managed by FarmKonnect on behalf of the owners.

Events / See How This Young Comedian Thrilled Audience With Funny Stage Drama In AAUA by ADESOLA96(m): 3:55pm On Sep 26, 2019
Compiled By : Oloye Adesola

Comedy in Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State witnessed another dimension when a young promising act, Ajayi Adekola popularly known with his stage name as MC DEKOLA, thrilled audience with live stage comic drama.

One can agree that this event is one of its kind and an incredible initiative ever displayed on the campus of AAUA which is fondly called Aare Awon Unifasiiti Agbaye. Only God knows who crafted that cliche but it has come to stay and evident.

Walking through the stage with dramatic performances, one cannot but laugh at the awesome display by MC DEKOLA and other casts in the drama.

The event titled "Laff O' Clock With Dekola" witnessed massive turnout from students of the 21st Century University who came out in their large numbers to show supports and enjoy themselves.

But wait! If we are to judge this fantastic stage drama that is divided into different segments, you will agree that the storyline was written in such a way that the targetted audience could relate.

An incredible performance by popular Comedian like MC RDK (TOP BRAND) while he mimick some lecturers of the university, will surely crack your rib.

MC DEKOLA wrote the storyline in such a way that it touches every aspect of the good, the bad and the ugly sides of events that unfolded in AAUA.

Let's take a ride like this: MC DEKOLA storyline of what an AVERS can look like was quite impressive. Ask what AVERS is? Yes, it is the result checking portal in AAUA.

He also touched the part of the tuition fee hike where KETU played an incredible part. Adewumi Olamide known as RINA was not also left out in the act when he played the role of classmate to DEKOLA, you can imagine the kind of abuse you get from your female coursemate who will never stop arguing with you especially when it deals with lecture.

Part of the event also witnessed performances by a host of other comedians, artistes, and dancers.

Laff O Clock was truly an unforgettable experience presented by MC DEKOLA.

The #FunnyIbadanBoi has definitely come to change the face of comedy and comic stage drama in AAUA.

Business / 7 Keys To Discover Your Potential In Business by ADESOLA96(m): 12:23pm On Sep 26, 2019
You may want to ask, what is potential? it is simple. Potential is a hidden ability that exist in every human being. It will not be an understatement that “Potential” is verisimilitude to “Talent”.

Do you know that there is a hidden treasure in every human being that needs to be unleashed to the outside world?

Come to think of it, there are some people who are extraordinary in what they do and you will want to wonder how come they are doing it so well than others. The answer is not far fetched, it is because they have discovered their hidden Potentials.

It bothers my heart when I see young people wake up in the morning and not knowing what to do; is that not funny and unheard of? But lots of these young people live with such thoughts everyday.

Let me take a clue from a man of God Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Academy where he said while others are yet to discover what they will do for the day, he had discovered what he will do for the rest of his life. Wonderful! now tell me, does he has more than the same 24hours every human being has? Certainly “No”. It is because he has discovered the potentials in him.

It may interest you to know that ‘All fingers are equal’ when it comes to TIME. That is not the topic for today but I promise to bring you that details soonest so that you will know that there is no excuse for failure.

The following are keys to the effective release of the wealth of your potential.

1. You must know your source. The source is the foundation from which your existence started from. To know the full capacity of any product, you need to look for the product’s manufacturer. God is our manufacturer. To utilize and effectively maximize your potential, you must have a good relationship with God.

Why? Because He alone knows what He had in mind when creating you. He created you for a purpose, that purpose is a seed placed inside of you known as potential. You may know your potential, you may know your gift, you may know your ability, you may know what to do to be fulfilled but if you don’t know your source (God), I pray our effort will not be in vain. Unless you establish a relationship with God, you have no hope of releasing your potential.

2. Know your purpose. The purpose is the reason for creation, the reason behind action. When you know the purpose of a thing, that thing becomes valuable to you but not knowing the purpose of something, you abuse such a thing. This is why some ladies are being abused sexually because they don’t know the value placed on them.

Literature / 3 Ways To Create Interesting Stories And Articles (see No.2) by ADESOLA96(m): 11:31am On Sep 26, 2019
By: Ikulajolu Adesola

Writing isn’t necessarily tough. The tough part of it is when you have to create content that is compelling enough to read. Getting the attention of your readers means your tactics need to be positioned right.
Here are some practical tips that will help you increase your chances of creating content that will arrest the attention of your readers.

Write eye catchy headlines

You only have seconds to arrest your readers’ interest towards your content. A large percentage of readers do not read articles till the end. The only top secret to getting them glued to your content is writing a title that is eye catchy and appealing enough for clicks.
For you to be a guru in the art of writing catchy titles, you must always try multiple title options for the content you are writing. Remember, practice makes perfect. Doing this will enhance your skill and you will become better at writing titles.
The title you are use should meet up with your readers’ expectation in emotion, intellect, and spirit. To achieve this, try to input your content title in the emotional headline analyzer by the brainy beings at Advanced Marketing Institute. You can use it to detect how good your title is.

Start with a catchy introduction
Your readers doesn’t have the whole day to read your content. However, if you write an introductory beginning that cannot be ignored, you will capture your readers’ attention.

If your introduction is boring, it costs the reader nothing to press the exit button but that won’t be good enough since you have spent so much time working on that content. Here’s how to write the prefect introductory paragraph;

Open with a question: The hidden secret here is that you give your readers a sense of belonging in the process of reading your content and they flow with it. As you practice more and more provocative questions for your readers, you will definitely become good at it.
Take a look at this example,
“Do you always marvel at why people don’t read your content?
Open with a statement of fact: Using this method will arouse your readers’ curiosity regarding what you have for them in subsequent lines and paragraph.

Use a correct word format
When you write, it is important for you to use the correct format for each word and sentence where necessary. Major headings should be written clearly and all other sub-heads should carry the needed tag.

You must also ensure that you are consistent with your ideas. One idea should not be left unfinished before moving to the next one.
When determining your sub headings, you can follow the same rules as that of the headline. Remember, anything boring will turn your readers away. Always use formats that will interest your readers in an uncommon way.

Familiarize with your reading audience
Putting in mind the fact that you are writing for your reader, the more you know them, the easier it will be for you to write something they will never ignore. Get to know your audience.

Crime / What First Bank Says About The Death Of Its Staff In Akure by ADESOLA96(m): 5:20pm On Sep 02, 2019
First bank of Nigeria has finally reacted to the murder of one of its staff in Akure, Ibrahim Adetutu.

#JusticeForAdetutu

Crime / How Assassin Killed First Bank Staff, Ibrahim Adetutu In Akure (graphics Photo) by ADESOLA96(m): 11:14am On Sep 02, 2019
Ibrahim Adetutu was shot at close range in Akure last Wednesday by suspected assassins.

Adetutu works with First Bank Nigeria at their Oka Oba Branch in Akure where she handles issuance of POS.

The Police has confirmed arrest of three suspects.

This is what Adetutu’s fiancée said:
“However, residents of Ondo State are demanding justice for the deceased and the case be investigated and offenders be punished. They also question the silence of First Bank of Nigeria over the incident.”

“Within some days, I lost my fiance to a mere misunderstanding which later turned a murder.
As I was informed by my deceased fiancee(AdeTutu)who told me that she was assaulted when she was on duty on that day, by some three women who posed themselves as purported customers.”
“She said it was her boss ( Tunde Temola)!that excused her and another colleague (Busuyi) of hers out of the bank to meet those three women,in accompany of some thugs ( Mgold , Iya Oyin and ex staff of Firstbank Mrs ilori) after which they asked for the registration of POS, and she told them that POS was not be make available and they should try and that they should and get another location.”

“Having said this, only for one of the women (Alajah) to slap her, and her colleague was seriously battered and dragged into the gutter. By thugs making nails around the bank area, all this done in front of the bank manager . She was telling me all these with tears, so I had to console her. It was fortunate for me to receive a call from a guy known as Alake who is also one of those women's brother (Iya Oyin). He informed me about the incident. I then asked him to hand over the phone to her sister (Iya Oyin), only for her sister to be telling me she ordered that my fiancee be beaten, and more also they wanted to strip her naked in the open market.”

“I got bewildered and was forced to ask what she had done so badly for her to deserve such inhumane treatment. The next thing she did was just to hang the call on me. I later asked what the manager ( Tunde Temola) said after the incident , she told me he asked her it true all the women said is the truth.

Alake, (Iya Oyin )brother, told me to settle the matter amicably, and of which I conceded to; I then tried to call Iya Oyin for us to meet at the market to reconcile this matter, only for her to put forth a threat that she would deal with me and my fiancee because am surprising her even to the point of death , the next day I met Alhaja and mrs ilori , Alhaja told me all the thugs in Akure worship her, 2 days ago she still bail a boy making nails at the market from anti cultist and I should be very careful hence I begged then I then retreated to tell my fiancee to inform her dad, of which she did.”

“On the following day, she went to the police headquarters to make a report, though she only delivered an oral statement. After she left the police station, she returned to her Bank. Later in the evening she told me she want to visit her POS point where she normally go to audit the account. This shop was overseen by some keepers. But before her arrival, some guys came on bike and asked if there was service, of which they answered no.

They went, though I suspected that they did not go far, but only hanged around, because by the time those guys came, she was already with me to inform me that she would be going home soon, and immediately she returned to her POS point, those guys appeared again, and they forced the keeper to fasten their eyes against the ground. And while they were trying to strangulate her to death, they broke her neck by this process , she escaped to the open space, but unfortunately for her, they shot her by the heart and she died. They left her money behind 210,000 Naira untouched

“N.B: Iya Oyin threatened to deal with Adetutu and I, and today Adetutu is no more because she was murdered in cold blood. I therefore cry out to people that my life is currently at the mercy of Iya Oyin and her accomplice ( Mgold and mrs Ilori) they yet to execute their death plan on me too.”

It’s quite ironical that there are women who willingly agree to be side chicks.
With the rate at which women cry foul when they’re cheated on and how society condemns cheating men, one expects that women would value exclusivity beyond compromise but that’s apparently not the case.

Education / How Nigerian Journalist Wrote Award-winning Stories With Bad Phone by ADESOLA96(m): 3:33pm On Aug 26, 2019
With my poor phone, I turned-in award-winning stories- Ikulajolu, campus journalist

Master Adesola Ikulajolu is a 300 level student of the Department of Mass Communication at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA). In this interview with Education News, the Campus Journalist speaks on his passion for journalism and how he combines journalism with his studies among the other sundry issues.

Excerpts:

Can we meet you?

I’m Ikulajolu Adesola Festus

Can you tell us your background?

I hail from Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State. I had my primary school education at St. Judes Primary School in Atijere before I later moved to Biso Craddle school in Akure, and later graduated from Life Nursery and Primary School in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

I later went to Ijapo High School, Akure later to Distinct Medal College in Lagos before moving to Assfod International College where I graduated. All these were due to relocation of my parents from one area to the other.

I grew up with so much trainings that never gave me the opportunity to waste any of my time. I started taking up responsibilities while I was a little boy.

As a campus journalist, how does that journey begin?

My journey began a long time ago while I was in secondary school. I love reading newspapers back then because I stayed glued reading Punch newspaper. My uncle would also buy newspaper everytime, so I ended up falling in love with the cartoons, but later loved the stories and articles. I used to be a very good writer in my secondary school because all essays and competitions will surely involve me. My juniors will always bring essays to me to write for them or edit.

Later on, while I got admitted into Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo, my friends and I had to start a reporting group in the Mass Communication Department. We had no resources or equipment, but we never stopped, we wrote with pen and pasted on all notice boards round the school.

As at that time, my interest in journalism had grown beyond control, no information would pass me. At a point, I became the source of any information, because everyone wanted to confirm from me before believing it.

My lecturers, Mr. Aro Adebisi and Emmanuel Osideko made it compulsory that all Mass Communication students should start publishing “Letters to the Editor”. As much as I write and edit for others, my letters never got published. Some of my friends had about three bylines already while I had none. We were the first set of Mass Communication students in the school, so everyday, about five of our students will have their letters published. The idea was bringing fame to the school, even the Rector was appreciating it.

What raised my curiosity and love was that for every letter written, attention was always given to that subject matter. From then, I saw Journalism as a profession that serves as mouthpiece to the voiceless.

My first Letter to the editor got published on January 5, 2015, it focused on the Centenary celebration and why the government should attend to other burning issues.

At this point, I had loved journalism so much. I started seeking ways to improve myself. I learnt on the job. One of my worst period was when..

Education / Student Life: How We Survive On Campus by ADESOLA96(m): 4:00pm On Feb 05, 2019
The political structure in the school system cuts across both the student union level, the lecturers and senate and also the involvement of individuals in non governmental agencies and the para-military.

However the struggles for existence in this beautiful environment is not always a easy one as student try to cut out on all the struggles and challenges that comes with schooling.

The financial capability for living a standard life for most student is not available, they engage in various trades and petty work for survival. The school dues, the money for materials and other educational accessories are readily never enough. In some instances some students involve themselves in various illegal businesses and life styles in order to survive and match up with the trending standard of life on campus. In the quest for fulfilling social standard rites they become easily influenced by peers and eventually fall off track.

Another ranging challenge that comes on board is the ability to cope with the stress associated with academic activities. Most at times student have to track long distance to lecture classes with empty stomach. Sometimes they have to wake up so early as 4 am in order to attend early classes and sit at the front of the class where they could audibly hear the lecturer because of the poor state of public address system and the lecture hall with dilapitated structures.

Coping with lectures and their intimidation and character is another mountain to climb as it takes extra sleepless night of reading to get the full understanding of the subject topic, some lecturers look for the slightest offence to pick on a student making learning a problem for some students.

This has led many to resolving to pay their way through (in cash and kind). I will also say this isn't as tough as the various violence that spurs up in the campus. Cultism activities, theft, the various molesting of female student and killings.

On a last note an adage says when hunger is removed from poverty, the poverty has been conquered. The kind of feeding student go through on campus is not only funny but weird. They sometimes combine food or source out from friends around to satisfy their hunger. Most don't even have hostels or don't have enough money to get a lodge.

They result into squatting in the hostel with their friends or off campus.

There is no limit to the survival of students on campus. As we know that life is not a bed of roses, when you go through the challenges, they eventually make you strong.

Through the thick and thin, students pick fun from the various challenges that comes their way, the end of the day while some die off, some drop out and some eventually put through to graduate out of the campus. Life is actually full of lessons and interesting moments on campus, it's the taste of reality.

Over time, we have been confused on these two matters.

We refuse to accept one above the other. Probably because of our differences.

But now, let's brainstorm for others to learn.

MY ANSWER: Friendship is the master cos that is the Genesis of whatever will happen between both parties.

What's your take.
