Hi Everyone, please i’ve got a question. Can only a Nigerian international drivers permit (without the national drivers license) be used towards getting an Ontario G2 license? I’m trying to process the national license but it won’t be ready for a while and i’ Due to land in Toronto in less than 2 weeks.

Hi Everyone,

Fantastic work you guys are doing here. I have a question:

I received the PPR email yesterday but in the email they told me to send my documents to Ottawa for COPR within 30 days rather than accra. I am currently in Nigeria and though i’ve sent emails to Ottawa for them to give me instructions and appendix A to submit to a VAC close to me, I haven’t gotten a response yet. Thus, i’m wondering-can I send my passport and documents via fedex to Ottawa for COPR and use my friend’s mailing address in Canada? They said they don’t send back passports to addresses outside North America. Also has anyone had this experience and what did you do?
Many thanks

Many thanks my people... they just got back to me with instructions for submitting at a VAC in Nigeria. I will return soon with my timeline once I look it up on my profile.

Hello,

Do you have CIC's number? How about placing a call to CIC and wait to speak with an agent regarding this issue as well...

Yea I actually have tried calling them severally but they don’t ever put me through to an agent instead telling me they can’t take calls at the moment.

Hi VO. Hope all is well. I'll appreciate your help on my case. I applied for a h2b visa and it was approved. I was told to go pick up my passport in 3 business days at the dhl point. However on reaching there 3 days later, i was told my passport hadn't been sent yet from the consulate. Thus, i went online to track it. It showed 'administrative processing ' till the next day(4th business day) when it changed to "ready-Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application" and the date updated to that day. The problem is now that it hasn't changed since that day and the date hasn't been updated either. Today is the 9th business day since my interview and i have no clue what is happening and my employers are expecting me by the weekend . Please I need some help here and I really appreciate. Thanks.

Hi VO, please you've not replied my question. I've sent an email to the consulate and they've acknowledged it telling me they've forwarded my case to the appropriate unit and that I should be patient while waiting for a response but since yesterday when they replied, there has still been no update and nobody has logged into my case, i feel like my case has been forgotten because of the lack of activity. I don't know what to do again. Can i go to the consulate and make an inquiry in person Please help
