I really do not think it is fair to TO label the operators of WealthZone as scammers. For the avoidance of doubt, I am an investor with WZ and I have several millions trapped in that investment. Before goverment intervened, these guys were faithfully paying the agreed interest on investment. At least i was with them for two years befpre government undue and unwarranted interference. And that was why WZ went to court. Other investment companies did not challenge government interference because they were not very organised. My joy however is that nemesis has caught up with all those Bankers who conspired against investors and the fund managers.

CAVEAT EMPTOR
Beware of Intercontinental Micro-Finance Loans. I applied for a loan of N300k from these jesters and guess what, I was told the interest rate is 6 percent but when they finished their abracadabra calculations, I was told I have to repay 500k in a year. Thats 66 percent interest!

Business / Wonderbanks Nigeria Plc by adros84(m): 8:36pm On Aug 17, 2009
Now the wind has blown and we have seen the anus of the fowl. Nigerians now know the real wonderbanks of our land. Only five of them have been exposed, but by the grace of God and the sweat of the poor investors whose funds with Wealthzone et al are trapped in the accounts of these banks, others will soon go the same way. There is no peace for the wicked, so says the Holy Bible.

It is not finding a good and God fearing trainer that is the problem. The question is: Are u willing to pay the price? The other time a fellow on this forum contacted me for training. But he wanted it free. Well you can get some things free or cheap but I believe you get good service when you pay. Anyway, I pray you get a good trainer. I am a trader and a learner. I've been learning for over two years and now I can say with some confidence that I have the key. i say this because over the last few months, I've consistently made 200% profit and above on my initial capital every week, fortnight or month. I have come to discover that the best trading period is Monthly/Weekly/Daily and 4H. Anything less than 4H is risky! This knowledge coupled wit powerful indicators have helped me greatly. I attach my latest trades showing a profit of $6000+ on a capital of $3000 in two weks! And I've not closed the trades because i am trading weekly. The target is a profit of $12000 in another week!

Business / Re: Is It A Forex Scam Or Real? by adros84(m): 4:18pm On Jun 08, 2009
Good advice all have given here.
However, I beg to differ. It is true that forex is risky and volatile, but the truth is, it is a market that can be tamed. Unfortunately many who have the real insight into trading forex do not have the necessary funds. with the necessary funds and a good trading environment - stable electricity and broadband internet, 100% returns on investment in a month is easily attainable. In fact, one can do it in a week!. I speak from experience and i am willing to send my trading records to anyone who is interested. E-mail me at fxman62@yahoo.com and I will send it to you.
I am willing to trade any account not below $5000 on a 50-50 profit sharing basis. This means you get to have 50% of whatever profit i make during the trading period which will usually be one month (30 working days). And I do not want a group. I need only one personto put down the funds. I guarantee, you won't lose your money.
Do not take the advice of those who say you should do the trading by yourself. It takes a lot of time and learning to master forex trading. It took me two solid years to get to where I am today and I tell you, I am still learning. Once again, any one interested should contact me by e-mail or phone 07062417445

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Much Do International Schools In Nigeria Pay? by adros84(m): 10:33pm On May 04, 2009
After my response to the lady's questions, I was almost chewed up by a responder. I suggested she negotiates for a minimum of N500k or 2000 pounds but was told I was giving cheap advice. Now someone has suggested $2000 - 7500. This translates to N360k minimum if exchange is pegged at N180 to the dollar. This happens to be the only post that addresses the lady's question. Others have been busy scrutinizing her English and other unrelated issues as if they are her potential employers. The truth of the matter is she will get the job whether or not her English is terrible. The mere fact that she is returning from the UK will sell her. Nigerian proprietors will employ an American or British 'goat' to head or run their schools rather than employ qualified Nigerians who have great skills. I write from experience. I once worked in an international school as principal and for seven years I gave my all to the job and got wonderful results (70% + Distinctions in WAEC year in year out and without any form of cheating). But my employer wanted to be like other 'nations' and decided to bring Americans and Britons to supervise the schools. I resigned and left because I felt only few very good Americans and Britons will live the comfort and security of their nations to come to a disorganized land like ours to work. Sorry if I sound unpatriotic, but that is the truth the way I see it. Of course she went ahead and brought them in but none of them spent more than a month before running back. Before one of them left she prepared a newsletter to parents that was so full of bad English that it had to se sent to the Nigerian Head of English Dept for correction!

How foolish of man to ignore the scripyural warning in Matthew 6:19- "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal"
Politics / Fire Razes Sam Egwu’s Country Home by adros84(m): 2:12am On May 03, 2009
Fire razes Sam Egwu’s country home

Barely one month after the wife of the Minister of Education and former governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Sam Egwu, escaped death by a whisker when her vehicle ran into a stationary lorry, his multi -million naira country home at Ezzamgbo, Ohaukwu LGA, Ebonyi State was razed by fire on Thursday.

Eyewitnesses said that the fire, which started at about 1:30a.m. and lasted for over two hours, razed the building with properties worth billions of naira destroyed.

Speaking to our correspondent, an eyewitness who did not want his name disclosed said all efforts by the youths of the village and security operatives guarding the house to quench the fire proved abortive.

According to the eyewitness, the fire might have been caused by an electrical fault in the building and before the alarm could be raised in the community, massive damage had been done.

He noted that when the fire started almost all the youths in the community, and security operatives attached to the former governor made efforts to bring the fire under control but since the building was under lock and key all their efforts came to nothing.

“Efforts made to break into the house and possibly evacuate some of the properties were futile because of our inability to force the iron door open. So, we watched helplessly as the properties were destroyed by fire,” the source lamented.

He said that several calls were made to the Ebonyi State Fire Service when the fire was noticed but fire fighters did not arrive the scene until several hours later, even though Egwu’s country home is about 15 minutes drive from Abakaliki, the state capital.

“I wonder what might have delayed the men of the state fire service from reaching the scene of the incident on time. And when they eventually arrived, it took them more than 30 minutes before they could start their engine,” he added.

When our correspondent visited the compound on Friday, debris of the destroyed building and properties were being removed while sympathisers were seen trooping in to see things for themselves.

All the efforts made by our correspondent to speak with Egwu and the head of the state fire service on the incident were futile as calls placed to their mobile phones indicated that the lines were unavailable.

Are u a returning Nigerian or a Briton? I ask because if you are the latter. I will advise you stay in the UK. No amount they [ay you will compensate for the insecurity and discomfort you will meet with here. This is just a friendly tip which you are not bound to take. For salary, ask for five hundred thousand naira (two thousand pounds monthly) minimum. Also ensure you will be provided with a decent accommodation and flight ticket back to the Uk for holidays.
Politics / Re: Ekiti: INEC Commisioner Resigns; Okiro Declares Her Wanted by adros84(m): 9:13pm On Apr 29, 2009
No Accolades for Her

Much as I would have wanted to join the bandwagon to praise this woman, I find it difficult to do so. and I have my reasons:

1. At 74, she should not have been too afraid to die. She should have looked those pressurising her in the eye and told then to go jump in the Lagoon and then go ahead with the announcement of the true result.

2. She did not resign out of patriotism but because she did not want to do anything against her Christian Faith". standing for the truth should not be premised on religious grounds but on the fact that only the truth is good. Whether one is a Christian, a Muslim, an atheist, a traditionalist, the truth should always be upheld

3. Christianity never taught that we run away from evil. It says resist it. If she is a Christian as she claims, the she is a weak one. Did the scriptures not say God has not given us the spirit of fear?

4. I do not see any genuine christian being a Resident Electoral Commissioner because most of them lobby to get the post. No genuine Christian lobbies for such posts

5. Finally, I think above all that she owes the people of Ekiti and the two candidates who have spent so much on preparations for the election a duty to come out of hiding and declare the true results.

Nairalanders, am I saying this is an easy task. Of course no. But once a man or woman accepts a job knowing the danger inherent in it, he should do it even if he or she loses his life in the course of doing it.

I rest my case.

Forex is real. However you must take the time to study and train before you start trading. Unfortunately there are not many good trainers around. In the past two weeks, I turned $550 into $3322 in my demo account. I just started trading live and in a day of trading (24/4/09), I made 20 percent returns on my $570 investment. But I have been studying for the 2 years now.

If you are interested in getting trained or have someone trade your account, why not give me a call: Solomon 07062417445. I will be glad to do either for you.

My brother, you are not the only one bothered by this 'fraud' being perpetuated on investors. I bought 100,000 units of Oceanic shares during the IPO and nine months after, I can't sell because tthere is no certificate. I visited their registrar but was told even if I have the certificate, I can't sell because the shares have not been listed by NSE!, whatever that means. Talk about 'wonder banks'!
