Jokerman: The best advice I will give you as a young man coming up. Go to the Google Play store and download the "Bamboo App". Do not invest in Nigerian stocks. Invest in American stocks as much as possible. 4 Likes |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Impunity In The Banking Sector. United Bank For Africa As Case Study. by AfahaAbia(m): 1:27pm On Oct 27, 2024 |
This is so so sad. I actually started my career with First bank in 2012 then moved to UBA in 2015. I worked for only about a year before I fled the country for greener pastures. All you said is 100% true. Even in those days it wasn't easy at all. A lot of colleagues I worked with those days all left Nigeria. You see working in any of those Nigerian banks, it's a big career killer!!! 8 Likes 1 Share |

Telltruth123: There is no formula in all this you said up there. You can save millions today, a terrible emergency can take it all tomorrow. For me with over 15 years experience working I would advise any young person today not to focus on savings alone but to invest as much as possible from your 20s and beyond. Try to also keep money in your pension account(another way of investing for retirement)even if you have contributions made by your employer already. I personally have over 100million naira(which will still increase as time goes on)in my pension account which I can not access till I'm in my 50s.. All im saying is thàt invest more than save. 75 Likes 4 Shares |

I have always advised rich clients and any other person who have property not to just write a will. Try as much as possible to set up a "Trust" immediately while alive this will help stop all this greedy family members from taking over what belongs to your children. 4 Likes |

People have always been traveling. It's just that between 2020 to 2023 Gen Z did not let us hear word about japa. I first left Nigeria in 2014, you need to the the thousands of people leaving the country then. Even when I visited the UAE embassy then with a friend the crowd was massive. But the sad irony today is that it's far far more difficult for the young people today to leave Nigeria because of the high cost and visa refusals 3 Likes |
