Katsumoto: I love Nigeria and Nigerians. Funny how this my friend here believes that the Yoruba man in question was a Nigerian soldier and as such should not be referred to as a Yoruba son yet does not see anything wrong in referring to the majority of participants of the first coup as Igbo army officers just to justify what happened after that coup. Seems we have a lot of problems with consistency here. We should be fair in our criticisms and stop playing games with serious issues just to promote or defend ethnic or tribal interests. |

Katsumoto: 100% correct. Yet, they fail to realize that the more they hide, deny or lie about what really happened the more the younger generation will be told the truth and when you try to reconcile the lies with the truth anger will naturally be the result. |

Who are the guilty people and what exactly are they guilty of? And try to lock the thread properly if you must. Sometimes we are too busy chasing shadows and in the process forgetting things and making mistakes. |

Donpuzo: You seem to be confused here. I am responding to your post so don't bring in other people showcasing their skills logic here. Donpuzo: More confusion. Who told you I am a moderator? I am not, have never been and will never be on this forum. When it comes to my skills trust me with the way you process information and comprehend issues I can assure you that even if I stopped developing software and give you 5 good years you will not come close to what I know and what I do in that area. You must train your mind to think in a logical manner devoid of unnecessary sentiments. Donpuzo: You do not qualify to advise me because you are not eve sure of what you are saying. |

kosovo: Communication is said to be ok when both the sender and receiver of the information passed are ok. In this case, you are not communicating and this is a tragedy in itself. Big words don't help unless they are intended to confuse or mislead. Simple and everyday words usually help in wonderful communication where everyone is clear about the message. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Don’t Tag All Muslims As Terrorists –sultan by Afam(m): 9:52am On Mar 09, 2010 |
I agree with the Sultan here. The killing of any innocent person by anyone, group or nation is wrong irrespective of the person, group or nation doing it. Unfortunately, those who control the media have succeeded in making us belief that the acts by weaker (in terms of arms or army) guys are acts of terrorism whereas those committed by the stronger (in terms of arms, army or nations) are merely collateral damage. I see the likes of Hezbollah, MEND, US, Israel, IRA, muslim fundamentalists in the north, armed robbers, assassins etc as one and the same. No innocent person should die and those who kill innocent people should be killed. |

texazzpete: Do not be in a hurry to attempt to prove someone wrong unless you are correct in your analysis. I cannot remember stating that they used sophisticated assault rifles. Maybe it is your own thought process here but I don't see how you expect people to plan something like this without input or advice from non settlers or farmers as the case may be. While you have tried to arrive at one conclusion from the beginning - religion I must make it clear to you that it takes more than the obvious to analyse issues especially where there are lives involved. texazzpete: I never expected you to understand that part because on several occasions you have basically justified the killings of the Igbos in the past so drawing a parallel to this one is something you cannot come to terms with but a lot of us who faced similar things in the past will always draw that parallel and for many people who were actually involved in the civil war at that time they are grateful to God that in their lifetime they are seeing things like these play out even amongst those that conspired to kill their own. |
Webmasters / Re: The Truth by Afam(m): 8:28am On Mar 09, 2010 |
@topic, Are you marketing your skills or complaining about something because I cannot understand you on this issue. Learn to speak for yourself as no one authorized you to speak for others and as such there is no way you can correctly represent the views of those you even claim to be representing. I will advise you to spend more time developing useful applications for those that need them instead of all these personality based comments. Those who took this route missed their destinations completely and hope you won't miss yours. It is only in Nigeria that I believe we have more internet software experts than real software experts as even though you get to read from many bragging about what they can do the reality is that the vast majority cannot even transform a basic business process based on discussion into a working software meant to solve or transform a business problem or process. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Resuscitates Ajaokuta Steel, Niomco by Afam(m): 8:20am On Mar 09, 2010 |
Beaf: Losing time? You may want to know where the original site was for the steel complex due to nearness of raw materials like coal and iron ore before it was moved to the present location just to ensure that no serious development comes to the East. It is clear that we may never know what we have lost as a nation due to the connivance, wickedness, lies and murder of innocent people in this country while we pretend that everything is ok. Over 40% of electricity being generated in the US is from coal alone and we have about the finest quality coal in the world in Enugu and yet the state of power supply is embarrassingly low. All in the name of One Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: Gowon - My Role In Nigeria-biafra War by Afam(m): 8:11am On Mar 09, 2010 |
More misinformation. There was no crisis in Nigeria when he did a u-turn on the Aburi accord which he signed. In trying to annihilate the Igbos he created states to weaken the Eastern region and have it surrounded on all sides including giving away Bakassi to Cameroun for the part they played. So, he should tell himself the truth and tell Nigerians what those factors beyond his control were so that we stop guessing. He claims to be a born again christian and as such he should be at home with the truth at all times. |
Politics / Re: Nigeria Must Bring Killers Of Christians To Justice: Clinton by Afam(m): 8:05am On Mar 09, 2010 |
@topic, Clinton should understand that the natural law of justice favors everyone. If she is so concerned with this why then have we not seen those US soldiers who murdered and maimed innocent Iraqis including children and women with bullets, bombs etc based on lies from the former president of the US? It is the same way the killers are lied to and brainwashed into thinking that by killing innocent people they are indeed doing the right thing to defend either their country or God. I believe most Nigerians want justice but these foreigners who commit atrocities all over the world must understand that their atrocities cannot be excused simply because they are non Africans. On the Jos issue proper we need to understand here that religion in itself cannot be responsible for this. We must focus on those powerful, wealthy and wicked elements who sponsor these killings to advance whatever evil plans they have. Most of these killers I believe cannot afford to buy guns let alone coordinate such a plan without input from organized groups whether military or paramilitary as we know that they did this even when there was a curfew. If those that sponsor these things could be identified and promptly executed then Nigeria will be better. On a totally different note it is interesting to note that what a lot of Easterners especially Igbos went through more than 40 years ago is being replayed today in a state where the then head of state Gowon comes from and we all know the role he played during that time. What goes around comes around. Justice favors everyone, not a select few. |
Politics / Re: The Igbos, The Yoruba And History by Afam(m): 9:15pm On Mar 08, 2010 |
compressor: If this was written by Sanusi then it makes perfect sense to state that he knows next to nothing about the first coup. Does he know the difference between the "Igbo people" and "army officers that were Igbo that took part in the first coup along with other non Igbo army officers"? Little wonder his CBN reforms seems to be overheating the polity with rash decisions and avoidable mistakes even with list of debtors. |
Politics / Re: "I Handed Biafra Over to Obasanjo" - Achuzia by Afam(m): 8:43pm On Mar 08, 2010 |
When people claim that the coup was carried out to benefit the Igbos I sense irreversible brain damage and utter confusion. Even those that fought against Biafra admitted that the Easterners were doing very well before independence and after independence in the military, business and civil service. What more can a group of young army officers do to assist a group of people that were already leading in different areas? Personally, all that happened were based on envy and jealousy as is common with people who are lazy and would rather steal, maim or kill those they believe are better off than them. After all some people became landlords in Rivers State simply because the likes of Saro Wiwa spearheaded the abandoned property project even though he was trained with Eastern region money (not crude oil money). |
Politics / Re: "I Handed Biafra Over to Obasanjo" - Achuzia by Afam(m): 9:25am On Mar 08, 2010 |
ndu_chucks: A clear case of crying more than the bereaved. An overwhelming majority of Biafrans then and people people that were affected in the war respect and appreciate the contributions of the leaders. A fact that anyone that cannot live with cannot change. Why one would be so engrossed in the affairs of a people to the extent that desperate lies are being told without shame while masking same as mistakes? |
Politics / Re: "I Handed Biafra Over to Obasanjo" - Achuzia by Afam(m): 4:19am On Mar 08, 2010 |
Katsumoto: I disagree, facts don't change. Thinking that one is sure of something is not the same thing as being sure of that thing. Considering the way he uses hate filled words against anything related to Igbo or Biafra one would have expected that at least basic facts should not be a luxury for him. This is like someone talking all the time about Awolowo telling us that he was from the Northern region. Would you in all sincerity take that person serious? Remember that this guy tried to twist and justify the lie by claiming that the Mid West was deemed to be Eastern region at that time when he was confronted with the ridiculous statement. There is a world of difference between a mistake and a lie based on complete ignorance. |
Politics / Re: "I Handed Biafra Over to Obasanjo" - Achuzia by Afam(m): 3:48am On Mar 08, 2010 |
I am surprised that some of you guys are taking ndu_chuks serious, someone that did not know that Nzeogwu was not from the Eastern region until a few weeks ago should ordinarily come across as a complete ignorant poster delving into issues he does not understand at all. |

So, it was you all along? Well, as they say who the cap fits. Seems that you have confirmed that you represent what I put down I must say that I am impressed even with the low level of reasoning you have been displaying thus far. Now, to help you a bit lest you confuse yourself international diplomacy does not mean that a country should or would pay attention to what another demands. You may ask your parents to clarify this if it is too complex for you to understand. When issues get to logic and common sense some people begin to see ghosts like this clown that has brought in Abacha into this. Start a thread on Abacha if you need to and I will comment on it if the level of reasoning has improved but if it is the same nonsense you display here then I will not comment on the thread. Confused mumu. |

I thought this forum has spell checker installed or are minors allowed to use the forum? No one should deny you your right to be stupid so go on, we dey look you. As usual, the pig that called others morons for having a different opinion is now talking about others resorting (even though he stupidly wrote result). With a very dangerously low level of reasoning I wonder what this guy does in real life because I don't fancy him being anything better than a tout, thug, armed robber or just a mad man. |
Politics / Re: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by Afam(m): 8:22am On Mar 02, 2010 |
It seems someone people on this forum think that the fastest way to look intelligent is by calling others slowpoke. It is sad to see Nigerians talking nonsense without realizing it. What do you expect when you have people with extremely low level of reasoning moving around instead of being kept in a clinic? While some of us have sold our souls to the US we must understand that not everyone will do just that. Inferiority complex is a right and we cannot deny those suffering from it that right. |
Politics / Re: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by Afam(m): 10:04pm On Mar 01, 2010 |
yourangel: Nigeria does not respect and fear the US. Abacha never bothered with them and while he related with the likes of China the US still hung on to the oil business because they need us more than we need them if we can do away with the misinformation and propaganda. |
Politics / Re: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by Afam(m): 6:45pm On Mar 01, 2010 |
naija_swag: If I create space for every nonsense someone types here into my head then I will run mad so thanks for the offer but will not buy what you are selling. naija_swag: I only hope you have the faintest idea why the US cannot dictate to South Africa or even Zimbabwe. Do you think its every country that swallows the propaganda you are spreading? |
Politics / Re: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by Afam(m): 2:42pm On Mar 01, 2010 |
naija_swag: Trading partner? Based on fair trade or what? The US can only make such comments because some people give them the impression that their position is important. Nigeria can make money selling whatever it wants to sell to other countries in a moment's notice. The US isn't the only buyer in the market and in any case having a very high debt profile (almost impossible to pay off) is not a profile serious nations would want to court at all costs. |
Politics / Re: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by Afam(m): 2:30pm On Mar 01, 2010 |
nex: Well stated. I only hope that more Nigerians will see beyond the mask the US is putting so they can see them for what they really stand for. It seems the only time we disagree like mad is when it comes to Ojukwu & Biafra. |

Politics / Re: Jonathan May Sack Northern Military Generals by Afam(m): 12:51pm On Mar 01, 2010 |
All these news reports that say nothing concrete but "MAY" or "FEELERS" or even "OUR SOURCES" should be discarded because the MAY effectively provides a back door should the event not take place. This is is like a prophet saying that if you pray hard you will make money so if money comes then you prayed hard, if it doesn't then you no sabi pray. |
Politics / Re: US Requests Information On Yar’adua’s Health by Afam(m): 11:58am On Mar 01, 2010 |
violent: There is no show of concern here because the US does what will give its citizens and economy maximum benefit regardless of what it takes including murder and wars so the language whether ask or request is immaterial. This is a Nigerian problem and no country has the right to demand information from Nigeria. |
