By every standards, your comment is highly toxic and you’re very wrong. You are in business and someone patronizes you, asking for things you feel isn’t necessary, you decline and the deal didn’t go thru. This DOES NOT give you the moral right to come to public space and demean or insult the person in the manner you just did.

Well, emotions most times over rules logic and rational thinking they say!

If you're in Lagos, your options are Mushin and Lagos Island. The problem with Lagos Island is that some(not all) of them refurbish machines and resell as brand new

Where in Mushin pls?

Fashion / Where To Buy Industrial Sewing Machines In Lagos by afangsoup: 8:43pm On Feb 13, 2022
Hello everybody,
I am looking towards buying a couple of industrial sewing machines for my new fashion business, I’ve decided to go for the EMEL brand; however, I was made to know there’s EMEL 8500 Series and 8700 series.

My questions are:

1, Between the 8500 and 8700 series, which is a better unit (durability and long lasting and can perform more functions)?

2, Are there any difference in price between the two?

3, What’s the average prices of these machines brand new?

4, Where in Lagos can I get these machines in bulk at lower prices genuine brand new?

5, Where in Aba can I get these machines in bulk at lower prices genuine brand new?

6, Between Lagos abs Aba, which will be much lower in price and easily sent to Abuja?

I look forward to hearing from you experts in this field pls.

Personally, I'd say avoid patronizing her, or be very vigilant and inquire very very deeply about the quality of her products.

I never said they were original I only him him they are of good quality. I even offered a refund. Thrice I have asked for his Acct details
In my line of duty, and my profession, and in my own little side business I do, a good quality refers to genhine original and not some random knock off or clones.
On the issue of refund, you said you've been asking for my details (so that you would send some of the money and NOT the complete amount I sent to you which I disaggred and is the bone of contention here) but even before you asked for my account details, I sent you my account details for a refund and haven't received it. Like I earlier told you, its absolutely nothing and would not take me anything to leave the money with you and forget about it.

But from the screenshot before you ordered for the Nike shoe in question, you asked her if it was quality and not whether it was original or genuine.

I spoke to her via calls and she asserted they were genuine. Yes, on WhatsApp chats I only asked if the product were good.

By my definition of good, and what I saw when I went for pick up, the quality was rubbish.

Thanks for clarifying.

Good quality is different from original.

You should have watermarked your customer’s number though. Thanks

Afang.soup also created the above thread to call you out. So many complains of poor customer service. You should fix that. wink
I spoke to her via voice calls asking about genuineness of the shoes, she asserted they are originals, I still pushed further via WhatsApp to ask hope they're good quality, she affirmed. Just like another shoe I was planning to purchase from her albeit, that inquiry was on WhatsApp which she didn't respond to cos I had to return her item.

Well said. I couldn't believe my eyes when people were blaming the buyer. Sometimes, you cant tell the quality of an item from the price, heck this is a clearance thread, so price may not be indicative of quality.

The seller is fraudulent and criminal minded for passing off a fake as an original. It's not about the price. Why would she misrepresent her product and start giving attitude when called out? This is why I hate purchasing "brand new" stuffs online at the price of "brand new", because your average Nigerian online seller is a criminal. If I need brand new items, I go to a physical shop. Only used items at low prices can I buy online.

@buyer, if you have the means, please track the criminal down and Bleep her up. I hate fraudsters and despise rude fraudsters.
I have the legal rights to take the matter up but I am only trying to put a human face to this case.
Its very easy for me to tell her 'I dash you the money, keep it' but her non-remorsefulness (sic) and arrogance is what makes me want to get back my money, afterall, she asserted over the phone that money is not her problem, she has money.

Hello Everybody,
I don't usually do this but I've been pushed to do so.
Some days ago, I needed to add some shoes to my collection and that of my wife's. I did a little inquiring from some Nairalanders, and they mentioned Anuoreangel being decent and honest enough to get a good deal. I decided to read thru her profile and discovered of a truth she has been a long time member.
I chatted and exchanged calls with her regarding some sneakers of choice and clearly stated that I needed Genuine Original Nike Sneakers for my wife and I.
She asserted that her products are genuine. I asked for her payment option if she does payment on delivery outside her base (Lagos) because I reside in Abuja. She said I should pay for the item and waybill. I felt its no problem and also informed her to send it to my address. She agreed and I ran a transaction to a First bank account bearing Okosun Christiana which I believed belongs to her. I did a sum of ₦12,500.00 (₦10,500 for shoes ₦2,000 for courier) and she said I should expect it in Abuja on 28th July latest.
I relaxed and even made inquiries about more footwares for my wife and I so that I may purchase when this first purchase gets delivered.
Unfortunately, I did not receive any calls or messages from her courier service providers till Friday 30th July at 10:58pm that my item is at Peace Mass Transit.
Next day, at 7:30am, I called the store manager of the courier and he said its not in Kubwa but in Utako which is approximately 28km away from my house. I ordered an ehailing cab and was billed ₦2,000.
I got there and was made to pay ₦500 for service charge. I paid and was given the parcel which I opened to discover it was packed in a red box which was a genuine Nike shoebox.
Opening the box, I was met with the most nastiest quality of shoes ever imagine. They were fake clone Chinese shoes cheaply made.
I felt disappointed and rang her (anuoreangel) to express my utter displeasure in such delivery.
I was shocked when she retorted rather rudely back that other people have bought same from her and they didn't complain, why am I complaining?
I told her see, I'm disappointed in your product quality, the fact that I really asked you if it was a genuine quality yet, you lied to me and I felt cheated, I am returning this item immediately back to you.
Next thing I heard from her was she's not poor, money isn't her problem. I made it clear that I am not paying for any return courier. When she gets to pick it she pays for it but she should refund my money for shoes only ₦10,500.
Yesterday, being 3rd August, she informed me that the item had been collected by her and she is only interested in refunding ₦8,500 because she has to pay for the refund and she doesn't accept any refund (a policy I wasn't informed of by the way till I wanted to return her item).

I've been patient enough and showed enough restraints while this lady has been acting all up.

Yes, that money is a small amount,
Yes, I could easily let her have that money, but No I won't because I worked for it legitimately, and also because of her rude manners, I need that money. It can go along way to buying data or call credit for me to use.

I wish the public understand that this moniker (anuoreangel) is one very cunning and deceptive and insincere person and anyone dealing with such person stands a chance of being shortchanged.

If I haven't gotten my full refund, I may be left without option than to take a more drastic legal approach. Anyone who's sympathetic to her actions may decide to tell me it's a small amount or it's normal, but hey, it's not normal, and no, I do not agree it's a small amount based on the fact that such has become a norm in Nigeria and hence the level of corruption and non accountability in governance and service delivery.

Even if it's a for a single pair an authentic Nike costs far more than N10,500!

Eventually I got a genuine for ₦30,000 by another seller. But it doesn't change the fact that she is a very dishonest and rude fellow who should be avoided.

TheLoanGuy:
Guy where you go take see Original Nike for N10,500 even with Nigeria's exchange rate? Original starts from 30k minimum and it's most likely a knock off that'll still be sold to you. Or you thought you don chop awoof?
On Twitter sef, vendors will sell the same shoe she sold at 10k5 to you for 20k minimum and they get it from the same source here in Lagos.

Most of us that have patronised know it is genuine. I think where she made the mistake was affirming that it was genuine.

I am not a shoe seller and won't know the average prices of these items here. What I usually do previously was to import or ask a family member to buy and send it over to me. So I am in no way to know.

I informed her I wanted genuine pair of shoes, several times I asked, she asserted it was.

Please, do Not shift the goal post from and derail this by subtly blaming me. The seller ought to be transparent and honest enough to tell the buyer the truth about his product. But unfortunately, this is Nigeria, seller may easily think that they are far away and can get away with being dishonest. This is why we are in this situation as a Nation.

Also, REDMI 9 have bigger battery capacity and faster charger than the other 2.

I think the Nokia 7.2 for you and Samsung A30 forward madam is good.
The Nokia is geared towards productivity and the Samsung is more relaxed and more trendy foreign ladies.
Thanks for your inputs. I wish someone will also enlighten me more on the faster phones of the trio and the best built amongst them especially from real life users experiences.

I wish to buy a phone for my wife and I.
But I am in a dilemma about the trio (NOKIA 7.2, REDMI 9 and SAMSUNG A30).
My budget is no more than 70k for each phone and I am looking at 4GB/64 or 6/64. I am also a heavy phone user, both online and offline. My phone is also my mobile office, and personal assistant. I love my phones to operate smooth, quickly and good graphics without lag, over heating or even quickly draining battery. My wife on the other hand is more of a social media and camera freak and desires good internet phone, good battery camera and display.

Dear people, which two phones would you recommend for us?

Thanks.
