It is easy to see that you would have financial challenge in US. You don't have any form of scholarship. How would your salary saved as an IT consultant in Naira foot your bills for 3 or so years? Be truthful to yourself - How did you really intend to pay a minimum of 25 million Naira in 3 years of schooling? It is not like your company is sponsoring you and will continue paying you while on study. It is even difficult for Americans to pay for their college education by themselves even while working. They go to school on FAFSA loan to be paid back in many decades after graduation.

If you mentioned a relative sponsoring you, that would serve you better. At least the person would continue doing his work/business while you are in school in US.

Lastly, your telling that the other school you applied to denied you admission show how weak a student you are. By all fairness, anyone would likely deny you the student visa unless you work on these two points. Wish you luck on your reapplication.

@Mayflowa
Thanks for your review and wish, I know she doubt if I can afford the fee which I think I can afford because of my study plan.
First of all, my school UWM already sent a job to me I am yet to honor it because of this visa issue.
Secondly, I have a company here that specialize in IT consulting and real estate service and I own 90% share of the company.
Lastly, I have been working for years now as stated above with personal savings.

Do you suggest I reapply for the Visa?
About the admission I have pending application which I didn't mention to her the status has not changed due to some requirements which I have not met (WES evaluation some other schools requested for official copies of my transcript).

Only one schl gave me admission and judging by d previous transcript, the chances are higher when u get admitted by two or more.

Hence I feel I should just tell d Vo 3 schools gave me admission since there wouldn’t be any form of verification whatsoever .

My friend applied to six schools, got admitted to five the last one was asking for WES so that was incomplete application they denied him visa also yesterday 21st July 2018. He told them he applied to six and got admitted to five, the only question we can think he didn't prepared and he still answered correctly was which school is in competition with the school he chooses and he said they all have good computer science department. He has good standing in all his credentials, statement provided by his uncle, seven years experience, still single and genuine documents.

Just tell them the truth, God will favour.

Am thinking of going for a vocational/trade school in the U.S, but I read somewhere on this thread that the rejection rate is high if your not going for a degree course. Please is this true?

Even if you are going for study, the rejection rate is 90%

Travel / My Horrible Experience With Cross Country Transport by AFK(m): 3:28am On Dec 18, 2017
If you don't want to put your life into danger please don't travel with cross country transport especially those plying Lagos to Accra vice versa. You will do all the necessary things from your side yet this people will expose you to high risk, they don't care about customer except there relatives. This is 3:00 AM 18-12-2017 I booked my ticket on 14th and I logged very close to the park and got to the park 3:45 AM then I met the first two busses and the attendant (Rotimi in Ghana office and Deborah in Lagos office) delayed us to get and loaded the third bus(big and very old bus) around 9:30 AM and selected some few people that just booked to take the first and second busses. However I was with this guy a day before my travel and I told him they are doing Oro ritual in my area in Lagos that I need to get to Lagos at most 9 PM. Now we got here in the midnight and the same bus that took us here was rubbed at Lakonji to Cotonou where they collected all there valuables and beat hell out of passengers according to a victim. Yet this people still packing us in that bus that supposed to be routing Ikorodu to Obalende. I have attached some pictures to this message. Please be warned, don't let them to deceive you with some new busses they would look for excuses that the bus is hired whereas you will know people in the same hired bus to see how stupid they are. And there fare rate is high, you will pay high and will not enjoy the service yet subject you to undue stress.
This happened to me while going and coming, I got to Accra 3:15 AM and same coming back to Lagos just a bit different and there won't be a single seat for you the hotel too they are not hospitable. Shine your eyes and think twice before exposing yourself to high risk.
Thanks and Best Regards.
